Yay! Bubbles the fish is in recovery!

I treated her dropsy, the swelling is gone, all that remains is for a bit of damage to one of her gills to heal. She's swimming and eating all normal, no major organs seem to be badly dammaged. I'm aiming to get her 10 gallons to herself this weekend, and Ford and Arthur (my two comets) will share a 20 gallon tank. Eventually, Ford and Arthur will get to have a long 42 gallon (I sputtered and goggled when I got that answer calculated out from my equation!) tank as soon as I can get it set up properly. Fishes keeping me so busy!

Erk... poor fishes...

Yesterday I bought two fifty cent fish, and I set them up all nice in a 5 gallon bowl. Well, I've since learned that goldfish really do better in a big tank, so I'm working on getting one. Worst of all, my two fish might be diseased. Maybe. They seem to behave pretty normal, but I'm kind of worried about the spots on my white one... at first I thought the orange eyes and spots on its tail were really neat markings, but they could be signs of a fatal disease.

I'm Learning to cook!

And I'm signed up for three college classes for Spring Quarter. Yay!

Mom bought me four organic Cornish Rock Hens (whatever the order of words is- I dunno. Teeny chickens!) to cook smiley - smiley Last night I made Chicken Picatta with lemon rice and tomato-cucumber salad. It's fun... and it's something my parents pay for, so it's perfect for me right now. I'm not trying to turn into "Suzy Home-maker"... buut... knowing how to cook well is a good skill for anyone to have. Yup. Once I make some money I'll probably turn more attention to my other hobbies.

My mom got me a teapot!

It's really cool, too. It's a french-mill Swiss design, clear glass with black handle, and the best part is that it came with a warming plate! Good for the pot or individual cups. Plus she got me some loose-leaf tea- Irish Breakfast and Earl Grey, my two favorites. *loves mom* Seeing the cool teapot and thinking of me... yummy smiley - tea

*squeal!* I just got my custom fangs today!

Ahh! They're so cool! I can't wait to learn to make my own, but these were worth the money. Awesome, awesome! I won't give the name here as it would make this entry an ad- but I love my fangs! *bounces*
