fans of vonnegut...let's discuss...i consider him to be among the greatest writers of the last century...he was the purest purveyor of true irony this country has produced...lenny bruce came close, but he wasn't a writer...vonneguts writing shaped my thinking. i discovered kurt when i was about 12 years old...i believe it was either sirens of titan or breakfast of champions...reading him, it seemed as if he was speaking directly to me and he understood how i viewed the world...it was manna from heaven for me...
