Boots - many thanks for your kind words smiley - smooch

We DO need to do Wisley, or similar, soon. Just let me know when you're free - I'm on 'gardening leave' from 31st Dec smiley - sadface but, earlier than that, around on Fridays, some Thursdays/Saturdays and every Sunday.

I think about you lots and hope better things are happening in your life.

How's that rather gorgeous pup of yours?

Hey Teuchter, good to hear from you! Pup as gorgeous as ever. Currently in Thailand doing second leg of never-ending-gap-year.
Have finally landed a day job that I hope to enjoy. Start on the 4th October and steep learning curve through to Christmas. Taking a proper break then and going to India for 3 weeks. Fly out on the 24th dec (will have to bring Christmas dinner forward for both the puppies) Then three weeks in Rajastahn, camels, camping, heritage, the whole business! And at last the city I promised myself I would visit a year ago...Jodphur.

However do get weekends off and can always do an evening gig (unless job has one on same night smiley - winkeye will tell all when I see you).
Why don't we try and plan something? Sunday afternoon tea at Wisley sounds positively civilised. Mr T may like to come too and we can see what Caerwynn is up to.

How is the job hunting going? I am sure with your skills you won't have to wait long.

Very best to Mr T and I hope the offsprung are settling.
Take care

Hi Boots

Just wanted to say heaps of smiley - goodluck for Monday. I look forward to hearing all about it when we meet.

Let me know which Sunday you're free for Wisley - I've no plans for Sundays between now and Crimbo, except 14th November, sad git that I am.

Your trip to India sounds Fab - will you write-up selected highlights for smiley - thepost?

Love, T

thanks for the good wishes. Off to bed now. Allowing myself 3 hours to get ready in the morning (ironing, hair that kind of stuff) and have to catch the 8.10 train.
Train is going to be fun. I know so many people who catch the 8.10 but they don't know each other...yet smiley - winkeye. Think we have to set up a breakfast club! I'm going to miss my girlie lunchtime coffee sessions...Mmmm wonder if we could get a buffet car on the Palais to Waterloo line?
Give me a couple of weeks to get to grips (or get the sack) and we'll fix up Wisley.
Take care

How did the first week go? Hope it went well - and that you've got the 8.10 commuters suitably introduced and organised.

Thinking of you

Hi Teuchter
Sorry I missed your post. The last five weeks have been a really steep learning curve and I haven't been on line much.
Job is fab! Nothing hugely difficult just a Himalayan range of it.
Lots of social stuff, which I was born to...lots of admin stuff which I'm stuffing useless at but am teaching the boys how to help me, being blonde has its uses smiley - winkeye
Commuting is the most fun, so much so I may even be forced to do an entry on it at some point! What an observational SAS course! They are so delicious.
Sometimes I know people on the train (luckilly I don't have set hours so have not yet fallen into the 'I must get to that part of the train and make sure I get my seat' game) and then it's party time! We have the most fun catching up on goss, creating some if there isn't anything exciting happening in the village and generally upsetting the commuter die hards.
London has become my new social club and I love it! I feel like Pet Clark!
I did have a coffee in our old village girlie haunt today and text the girlies to say I was missing them. Wthin five minutes they were all there and it was magical! Just like never having been away.
The gorgeous Antonio said I was much missed but he bet me a fiver I'd move to London...oh if I only had the pennies I would be there like a shot!
I am really tied up with meetings and social functions until the fifteenth but if you and Caerwynn have a free day after that I'm sure I could have a 'work from home' day!
Hope all is sorting itself out with you and family.
Take care

Boots - How art thou? Did I hear a rumour we might be seeing you this weekend? Do hope so - it's been too long.

Ben will possibly have passed this on to you but I wanted to make sure you know about Hypatia's visit to the UK in May.

It's a definite goer - plane tickets have been bought! We are currently plotting and scheming and so far there's a definite visit to Chelsea Flower Show on Friday 27th May - and a possible Hootoo Meet sometime the same weekend.

If that weekend's not possible for you, Hypatia will be here from May 20th to June 6th. Hope we can arrange something.

Love T

Hey Teuchter
Lovely to hear from you! I have had to duck out of this weekend. The termites collectively known as grandchildren have decided to make my life a misery by declaring it a 'visit granny weekend.'! They arrived on Friday and have engaged me in skills I had almost forgotten. cooking, sightseeing, games aaaaargh!

Seriously it has been lovely but I need to go back to work for a rest.
Great news about Hypatia and I think I'm freeish both weekends.
I know I have gigs organised at the beginning of June and am away weekend 13-17th but apart from that it doesn't look too bad.
Give my love to all the Hootooers this weekend and a special hug for Ben and see you all soon.
Take care

Boots - We're trying to 'organise' Hypatia's visit over in the Atelier Conservatory - from about post number 261 http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F38024?thread=275151&skip=260&show=20 - if you want to pop over and see what we're up to. Hope to see you soon.
