I've been thinking of you quite a bit for a while, but you are presumably away. Hope all is well. I've a favour to ask and a suggestion to make.
Suggestion first, I am going to be in London for one of the weekends later this month and wondered if you could put up with a vistitor on the Saturday night. I've loads of goss, some of it decent, and it would be good to see you. Drop me a line and I'll let you know when.
Now the favour. Could you have a quiet word with Pin and get him off my back? It is cute that he misses me, but he tends to ignore the fact that the reason I am not coming out to play is because my life is particularly shitty at the time. "C'mon Ben, C'mon, I'm bored, come and play". It appears that I should be 'over' whatever it is that he has gathered that I am dealing with, because it wasn't a situation he approved of in the first place. Telling him that I am running on vapour appears to be clever or posturing. Is one only allowed to go through morally justified pain?
Enough whining, and propositions of wineing instead. Drop me a line and let me know if there is a corner of the boot-locker I can curl up in. If not, then I will evict my nephew (who charges for the privelege - little capitalist!) and stay with Big Sis.

You know you can stay whenever you want to...that's what spare rooms are for! Let me know which weekend and I'll work on a tidy up of the tip and a raid on the off licence
No haven't been away, just coming to terms and facing reality, very boring game but you have to play it sometimes! Loads of goss this end too so it will be fab to have a catch up.
Haven't been on line much but will drop the phocid a line...or maybe even a link? Your choice.
Accountant Michael's book launch this saturday so am at once pleased as punch and pissed off! Apparantly I get a free copy as I feature in the tome.'Cheers mate!' Will have to go and congratulate through gritted teeth and bolly and watch him wallow in his moment of glory. He only wrote the bl***y thing because I started writing mine and the b*****d has finished it and got it published before I have even glimpsed my final chapter. Still at least it's bound to be boring, all about business, yawn...seriously sourgrape version of yawn!
It's called 'It's all Cobblers' (a favourite expression of Ravagers) and it's dedicated to his wife and Ravager, which is pretty cool.
Seems I am destined to be a muse...hey ho!
Take care and tap soon

It is hard to be graciously pleased for someone through tightly gritted teeth, isn't it?
It would be the night of the 25th. If I could stay with you, that would be fab. Don't worry if it's not doable, as I said I have a plan B, and in fact a possible plan C as well!
I've lost your current email addy, but drop me a line at agirlcalledben at yahoo.co.uk, and I'll reply.
Don't worry about the phocoid, I think we have settled our differences for the time being.

25th fine. I'll drop you a line on Sunday. Rest of the week frantic.
Wedding, book launch, day job....dear God how on earth did I fit in a social life before? Didn't need to I guess!
take care and I'll either tap or call on Sunday.

Hi babe
Long story - but to cut it short I had my phone stolen, didn't have your home number and couldn't get through on your work number - wierd white noise on end of line.
More about missing you than anything else to be honest.
Old number should be working on new phone tomorrow.
Pissed off at not seeing you and *really* pissed off at standing you up.
