With apologies for the delay but with all transport in and out of Aberdeen blocked by sheep, all communication down due to a mass slaughter of telegraph posts, and the blowing up of the company head quarters, business has been a little difficult.

As you will see these are a little different from the original Phocoid model. The colour range has been extended and we believe that this design will prove to be more aerodynamic.

What can I say? Despite there not being a delivery in black, I was delighted with the wonderful range of size tens and think that both the sunshine yellow and the delicious fuschia pink will serve my purposes excellently!
The red whilst most attractive is I think a little high on the anger register to be entirely suited to my current frame of mind, too close for comfort I think they say.
My thanks to your superb team for coming up with what can only be described as a winning model and I am sure it will be the envy of all your competitors.
Thank goodness we saw it on this catwalk first! Milan Eat your heart out! Paris try again! And as for Aberb****ydeen? Wool I think would lose a little in the translation, especially as I doubt it would be cashmere.smiley - winkeye.

Thank you so kindly for your good wishes which are much appreciated. It was with great regret that I heard that you were currently seeing too much red and not enough black. I was however very gratified that the sunshine yellow and fuschia pink were to your liking. It is therefore with even greater regret that I am constrained to inform you that your shipment has been becalmed, somewhere.

Somewhere, to the best of our acknowledly imperfect knowledge, in the Pacific. Or thereabouts.

I can assure you that we are endeavouring with all our best endeavours to ascertain the exact location and future prospects of the cargo. When located it will be dispatched it to you poste haste, marine maninfestations not withstanding.

I hope that this hiccup in your order will not deter you from future custom with our company. We will not again contract our deliveries to the Pin & Orchid Line.

I am not surprised however. I have had some dealings with the Pin & Orchid Line in the past and am well aware of their reputation for unreliability.
I do have a few contacts myself in the Pacific, perhaps you would like me to ask them to try and ascertain the whereabouts of your shipment?

I am indeed overwhelmed by your generous offer of assistance. If it is of no trouble to your very good self, I will accept your services with regard to the tracing of our lost cargo with an excessive amount of gratitude. And a coupon against your next order.

Any help that your Pacific contacts can provide will be much appreciated. We have had some contact with the P & O representative but I'm afraid little of any practical benefit could be ascertainted before he lost the thread and apparently buried himself under an albatross.
