Hi Boots!
I read your entry, and you couldn't tell it from the AWW thread, but I was utterly moved. If you ever need anything, I'll be happy to help, I'll GuideML up your Personal Space for one if you'll let me

Hello you! I was hunting for an old thread to catch up but your space is soooooo full of conversations I didn't know which one to interrupt!
This is my first day on my own, without the mourning masses...who are just the loveliest but oh so tiring. It is OK. Not 'best day of life' OK but 'can cope and enjoy being on own' OK.
Have gardened. Have monica'd house...well truthfully am halfway through the monica-ing and not my most favourite game so thought I would take a break. Himself is in the house with me...actually he is, whoops...not only in spirit but also in box....family conference has not decided where he shall finally go. Collective warped family sense of humour gene thinks he should lurk under his immense record collection for a while! It is good to have quiet time with him and it is good to catch up with old friends too.
You are being a busy bee! I hope it is all going well. Still don't understand a word but everyone seems very excited about it all.
I would be most appreciative of help with posh personal space! Not too many smilies though...remember I can't do them!
Take care

Copy and paste the the following text into the space for your personal space.
Having been here since January 7th 2003, no longer feel that 'Hi new member so be gentle' is relevant. (Fully understand that it is not a cool way to introduce yourself and knowing 'cool' is important accept my failure).
I started off as 'old dog' but after losing password (it would seem that many of us suffer from this affliction), decided 'useless hound' was more appropriate. With no mates to contradict, believe that old, dog and useless are all valid descriptions. Hound just sounds more impressive.

Special thanks to Waz for making me re-write 16,000 words! Thanks Waz!
A short cut to smileys
PS - I Suspect I will never get the hang of smilies or guide whatever... so can't make this page look prettyBut Jodan did. The 'my friends' link is where I put researchers I have read and found interesting or people I have spoken to...This is not a presumption of 'friendship' but rather a navigational tool for the computer challenged.

and change it to GuideML. I've tested it, it should all work fine and dandy. It's pretty much the same as what you have now, except it has links and everything. A bit more pretty. If you ever get the hang of smileys want to add some, just put in the tag <smiley type="smiley"/> with whatever smiley you want

I see you pasted it. It won't look pretty until you go to the circle marked GuideML at the bottom of the page and click change style

Thanks wolf! Having horrendous internet time at the mo. Nothing appears to be working properly. That'll teach me to move boxes from one location to another! May tap later if I can get this infernal machine to send anything!

I know how you feel. My computer (Which I call the mule, 'cos the speakers go up too high) freezes constantly
It's a very nice picture by the way. "A Florist's Window Display" hold your head up high today
