Hi back, missed you too. Glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Corfu. "being back not quite so much fun." No, it can't be .

You were back before the earthquake out there weren't you? Hope the Corfu house came through it, it was a point 6 I think I heard. I've been in Aberdeen, tv and pc less. We had the radio, but I'm out of touch with it these days, don't know when and where to listen. So I didn't keep very up to date with news.

It was a good break. My parents have a flat there that they rent out. Mum and I went up to clean/mend/decorate between tenants. But there wasn't that much to do this time, so plenty of time to go out. Aberdeen's a good place, ancient granite, modern oil, ships on move in and out of the harbour, and miles and miles of empty beaches and sand dunes. I love the north east coast - so much space. So when you get sunny weather, as we did, it's pretty good up there.

Highlights were seeing an Osprey dive, catch a fish and fly off with it hanging from his claws and porpoises jumping in a deep blue sea teeming with seabirds.

Off to catch up with more backlog,
