I couldn’t wait any longer. It’s 6 o’clock in the morning, talking about not going to sleep at all. There are very strange sounds coming from the tree right near the window. It sounds like a bird in pain. While I was typing this, the sound died out. Several minutes ago, when I was still trying to “knock myself out,” I saw a very nice cloud shaped like the map of the United Kingdom. It was floating there in the ocean of the blue sky, with all its islands around.
Nights have very strange behaviour. They always flow so fast, so quiet. And so did this night. My leg was in pain, and it’s impossible to sleep when something hurts. I tried to find wool blanket to wrap around the leg, but there was no such thing in my room, so I got my sweater instead. Then I just read the book and waited. When the pain seized to be I tried to fall asleep, but the thoughts, those wild untamed thoughts, didn’t let me. So here I am now.
What are dreams? Let’s see… There are three kinds of dreams, in my opinion, that is.
#1 The most common ones: dreams about your fears/desires. Something that bothers you, like me having unpleasant dreams about my first day at the uni. for the last few weeks.
#2 Dreams that came from your memory, your past. People you miss, sometimes people you wouldn't even remember when you are awake.
#3 Is a very delicate question, whether you believe in it, or not. I leave it up to you. Dreams that tell the future. It doesn’t have to be exactly the same as what’s going to happen, but there is always a specific detail or action that will definitely happen. Also maybe something as a symbol, but it’s hard to guess. I always have dreams about my teeth falling out with blood and pain, three days before someone dies…
