WHat Id love to do would be to bookmark some pages I really like, can you help me do that on my preferences page??

nice to hear from you

there is not a Bookmark on H2G2,
but if it is a users page you want to bookmark, then you can add them to your friends list,
if it is a Guide Entry then you can "Subscibe" to the page and you will be notifide of new conversations on that page
it you write to a conversation then your are automaticly subscibed to that conversation
and you can write a to it on your own page

and I bookmark it on my own browser
