Best Punk album of 2002?

My vote would be The Distillers - "Sing Sing, Death House"

Stiff Little Fingers type music, with a violent Courtney Love vocalist, all played at blistering speed but with great tunes!

'Sing Sing Death House' is a great album. Hellcat Records is a very cool label, I love F-Minus, Distillers and Choking Victim and all the ska/reggae stuff they have is quite cool too smiley - smiley

My favourite album of 2002 (or at least sometime in the last year or two) would probably be 'Pound for the sound' by Capdown. Excellent songwriting, cool ska-ish influences and interesting politcal lyrics.

'Lost for words but far from speechless' by my favourites, Five Knuckle, is also good. Oh, and anything released by From Ashes Rise or xLimpWristx

One is too hard!

shrinkwrapped

I don't seem to have any punk/hardcore albums released in 2002...

Apart from the Twenty Years of Dischord Boxset (A838659), if that counts!
