PR can be really instructive

Hello VVV
Looking at your Oz/UK piece, it struck me that a useful intro to how things are written and commented upon in h2g2 is to have a look at some of the threads (conversations) in PR (peer review).
Click on the 'click here to join in the fun....' banner on your page - which takes you to the PR page. Scroll down to the bottom of that page adn you'll see a list of entries that are currently being Peered at
It's easy to read the entries and the associated comments by clicking on ones that grab your interest from that list.
h2g2 Scouts will comment on all entries submitted to PR and then make recommendations to the Editors about when an entry is completed. That's why you see many of the same names coming up in the conversation threads in PR - they're Scouts. Mind you, it doesn't stop pedants like me (not a Scout - more interested in writing Guide Entries) racking up and picking entries to pieces
Hanging around PR for a while certainly taught me how to go about getting stuff into the Edited Guide
Good luck
