Well, yes 36 is quite hot, I was just surprised that it's the hottest temperature you've had in a hundred years.
40 isn't hot, it's disgusting.

I don't know what today's high temp was, but it was too damn hot. I'm not going near another shopping centre until October. I didn't enjoy the murderous feelings the heat brought out in me! 
You've no idea how much I envy you lot at the other end of the planet sometimes. And as for people who head to warm places in winter - I've a mate who's a therapist. Email me and I'll put you in touch with him!
