hi sef

is this the code to do for dates ei the 24th
-
24th to use in a guide entry, or is there another required.
-
ive written a guide on bradford, a friend is at the moment editing it, and we think that to even get it in the edited guide the th or nd as to be in a certain way,

SEF Posted Jun 5, 2007
It doesn't matter. Not only do you not need the letters after the number for a date (as I suspected and then checked), but you also don't need it correctly formatted to that extreme level of detail because that's what the sub-editor is supposed to do. However, here's the style guide and approved code subset anyway, for future reference:

when he is satified with it,the choice is would it be ok for the peer review, for the edited or the under guide rev as mentioned.
-
i would like to add pics to see for the old and new of each building,or a link from the internet for each, but for some reason the bradford telegrapg and argos as no old building or the new press hall images i can find on the google. and the new police station asnt one as yet on the internet.
-
the only one i can find in conection to the t and a is one of the milligan, forbes before 1925 when the t and a took it as their offices.
-
after rev as done the straightening up, he said i should see if there is anything more we can do to improve the guide with either someone who as the knowhow or the get writting team, who is best to aprouch jim

SEF Posted Jun 6, 2007
PeerReview itself would be the place where people would then say what they thought would improve an article. You don't need to approach some member of staff or a sub-editor directly. The local route for suggestions and approval is already defined to be P.R.

ive done a few for guide only, but this time ive decided to go all out,did you read it, and whats your take on the guide jim
hi sef, hope you can help jim
SEF Posted Jun 6, 2007
I didn't read much of it, no. I'm not interested in Bradford. I merely glanced quickly through it and noted that it didn't look to be rubbish and therefore it could reasonably be put into PR. Although Rev will have to continue doing any edits people ask for since he's the one with editorial rights of that page.

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Jun 6, 2007
As I told Jim some time ago, I haven't the time in a day for the GuideML nor the PR process. So as far as I managed to tidy it up, the entry now lives on his space with a slightly different title. So that it's easily found for any further tinkerings.

thanks sef for all the help.
-
tomz i,ll redo its proper title
-
bradford, from the old to the new
-
then add rev as the one that helped to edite for me.
-
i would like to add a pic of at least the updated buildings, either as blobs or urls, the later could be a problem as the google images are more or less copywrite
-
im removing the one pic till i see what the peer review says, then brouch the subject of if i can have the pics jim
