Thankyou Carino, and I wish the same for you. Unfortunately things don't always quite go that way of course.

i'm aware of your illness, but what do you do when friends and family come to visit, you dont need a weather man to know which way the cold winds blows

The cold wind generally blows outside. When it blows inside it means one is in real trouble - eg just lost the roof or something! That did actually happen to some houses in the 1987 storm though. Others lost the whole of their front walls.

I thought I was joking with you. I have been worried about my roof though. There were some cracks and bits falling off the side wall. The 1987 storm stuff was true. One whole row of houses lost their front walls leaving the rooms exposed. A roof from one extension/out-building was lifted off and slammed into the garden of where I was staying at the time - slicing through the tree which was going to be used to build a tree-house and sticking out of the earth at an angle.
