im having problems putting pictures on my page it keeps saying theres errors ie bad closing ?? could you pllzzz help

The errors will come from all the smilies. They are not done the same way in GuideML as in plain text. In GuideML each one is seen as an opening tag and it expects a corresponding closing tag. One of the easiest options is to remove all the smilies from your page before switching to GuideML. Otherwise you need to convert every single one like this: < winkeye> becomes <SMILEY TYPE="winkeye"/> which is a self-closing tag.
