Hello SEF, I was going to try and post a link to a topic I have submitted for review but I can't seem to get links to work when I try to postthem in conversations, can you give me any advice on why Bubbles doesn't work?

Conversations and journal entries are always in plain text mode (although there is a certain amount of cheating behind the scenes). All you have to do to get an A-number, U-number or various other links to work in plain text is to type them, eg A1009469.

Always use the Preview button to check what you have done has come up as a link. If it hasn't worked automatically for some reason, check there isn't an error in what you typed first. If you are still sure it is just the parser at fault then force it with these special angle brackets (but without the spaces I inserted between . and / to stop them from working so that you could see them):
<. />awkward-link-text</.>

Thanx for that, just 1 more question, is it not possible to give the link a real name rather than the A/U number?

Apparently not in plain text (though you can choose to do so or not in GuideML by making the LINK self-closing instead). However, some official pre-formatted messages get to cheat by being generated with different links than the visible text. Examples you may see around the site (especially with the current topic ban) include the moderator ones.
