h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am interested in the origin of the soul, where we come from and where we will return...I think all religions are different expressions of the same "God" or "source" or "force" whatever it may be called...I believe in "God" but I am having problems deciding if "God" is really a christian term and if so we can't then say that the "God" of other religions has the same meaning or expression as the Christian "God"....therefore does not mean there is an alternative name that would better describe this "essense"....I pray to "God", but I don't follow a religion, I follow my intuition and common sense, and so long as people don't try and confuse me...I have no problems...I am looking for the TRUTH, therefore if you are well versed in all the world religions and have a true understanding of what faith is about please enlighten me...please use plain english and explain technical terms...many thanks!
