Or maybe, if I can't make it, maybe you could do a little side trip to Sacramento? Either on the way down, or, since Saturn Girl suggested a card or something if we can't go, on the way back (or maybe even both)?

Well, since if I'm coming to the meetup, I will be living in the country.. I'm sure we could manage something.

And it'd even be sort of on the way, depending on which route you went (assuming that you come by car...)

How far is it, N. Idaho -> you, and you -> the meetup?

I'll have to look up N. Idaho-->me, but me-->meet is about a 4 hour drive, I think, so not too far... *looks just at big map in the back of the road atlas, and decideds to just do it time-wise* Looks like the only Idahoan cities on the map of the whole US (the one in the back) are Boise and Bonner's Ferry, so you'd have to ask Nyssa about driving times from one of those... Boise-->Sacramento looks like about 9.5-10 hours, and Bonner's Ferry-->Sacramento (a longer trip than you'd be making) looks like about 20ish... This map I'm using just shows approximates... *sees note on page* Or try going to randmcnalley.com, entering the Express Access Code (MC) and then typing in any 2 cities.

Yeah... I looked at the Idaho map, and Moscow's a ways up there... Closest city on the big map is actually Spokane, Washington, which is about 2.5 hours closer than Bonner's Ferry. Of course, since the most direct-looking route goes right over mountains, if you couldn't make the meet and came in the winter instead, maybe another route would be best...

I'm doing well as you can see in my journal
And Mommy's wondering if she's gonna get a call anytime soon (though she may not be easy to get hold of this week, if long conversations are wanted... For short ones, after 9.30, likely... Or you could email her the phone number. She says it'd be novel to speak with an h2g2er in the same timezone)

Well, I emailed you...
Of course, considering my computer problems, if I have the phone number, you may well have to end up walking me through stuff again... Hope it doesn't get that bad again though...

It's gotta be easier than over IM, where I have to become incommunicado to try things, and if it doesn't work, I can't ask why...
