Dearest Amy and Tom,
I would be honoured to be an honorary Grandma to you first born. I think that it is easier than to try and understand the relationship with your "Mom" Lady Scott. It would get very complicated otherwise!! So now the Hon. Grandma will have to start knitting as soon as my fingers have returned to their normal state.
It is quite impossible to read the address on the Christmas card so nearer the time I shall ask you to give me an address to post the goodies.
What are you doing for Christmas? I am looking forward to it.
With fond love.

Hi Amy and Tom,
I do hope that you had a happy and blessed Christmas. I wonder where you spent it.? I hope that you did not tire yourself out too much edear Amy. Of course you do not have awful handwriting. It just looked like hieroglyphics (spelling!!)
We had a wonderful Christmas and eventually managed to speak to all the children around the world.
I am feeling quite pleased with myself as I have single handedly done all the washing up and cleaning(well of course I had help from my dishwasher, but it could not take the various glasses!!.
enjoy the rest of the break, and now you can really begin to think that you babe will be born this year!!.
With all good wishes and very much affection.

Hi my little darling,
Sorry I have been such a "lazy" Hon. Grandma but I have had a few problems of my own.
It was Soooooo interesting to hear about your development. And how wonderful and Daddy and Mommy are going to be able to see you on March 7th. I shall be thinking hard of you that day.
Tell your Mum to eat lots of good things so that you can be fed and not take it from her. That is the problem with little ones. You won't go short but Mommy will lose her reserves.
Love you lots and keep well my little one.
Your very ing
Hon. Grandma.
