Moving. I figure it's time to quit puting so many miles on my car. Plus, this way with the theatre thing picking up again, I'll be closer to that.
Have to tie baloons to chairs tonight. Then tomorrow go to work and in the afternoon to the hospital to visit my friend. Hopefully her baby will be born by then. Tomorrow night is rehearsal time. I'm busy, but I love every minute of it.

Yes. Very busy. Plus, I'm trying to limit how much I'm on here during the day. I get my work done, but my manager doesn't think I do. So, until I find that new, perfect job that pays twice what this one does () I probably won't be on here much.

Hope all's well. Had a bunch of theatre stuff to do yesterday. I'm at work today. A project from a year ago has come back to haunt me. A company we're in arbitration with has finally offerred a settlement.
Boss is still not the best. But I've applied for a transfer.

Hurray! You're back online. I've met someone. It's rough going though since he lives a few hours away.
How are things with you?

I was going to move jobs but my management didn't work quickly enough. The other department gave the job to someone else while waiting to hear from my senior manager. It turns out that it might not be such a bad thing. They're working a lot of overtime in that department.
The current production is going well. Light cues are driving me nuts. I work the light board while the designer tells me what to do via a headset. He's a perfectionist - which is good for the show, but it makes me crazy.
We'll see how things go with the new guy. It's still early days yet.
Glad to hear your work has relaxed. Mine goes through stages like that too.

Work is still carp, but I'm trying to be philosophical about it. Plus, my manager is out on maternity leave, so that helps. I'm reporting to a former manager for the time being.
I'm still looking for something different to do, but haven't had a lot of luck. Just glad I still *have* a job with the way the economy is.
How's your job, etc been? Aside from not letting you online, are they working you too hard?

Rich & famous?!? At least that makes one of us.
I know what you mean about meetings. I have several tomorrow. Had a conference call this morning.
Hope the rest of your day is a good one.
