sorry about the lapse in posting this morning on the movie game,had been at work since 2000hrs last night & the eyes were starting to get a little bit bleary.

yup i'm a shiftworker too,this week for my sins i've got nights...great..

and yes i'm in the uk a little place called felixstowe & i'm on the docks although not working for the dock company.

yes mate im origanally from manchester,but left age 7,moved around a bit and ended up in a place called glossop,since 1975,so ive lived here longer than anywhere else,still think of my self as a mancunian though.My wife is glossop born and bred says i'll always be a common manc though.gotta go do a bit now

hows the night shift going mate..?

hi im back again,time for another brew.night shift is ok,im driving most of the night,i do three circuits of the stockport/tameside area,coming back to base(unoffically)twice a night.you probly know how nights can mess up your eating habits,i always try to eat around the same time,thats why im online at the same times.
its really really foggy tonight.

i know what your work is like i used to work for securicor about 15 yrs ago,i suppose you still have to rush around like a baf..

sometimes its all go,weekends mostly,usually its dull dull dull the rest of the time.

do they still pull stupid stunts like letting you do a twelve hr static followed by a night patrol followed by another twelve hr static.

back in the good old days securicor used to allow you to do that.

no my gaffa is ok like that,i wouldnt put it past securicor though.I once did a 24 hour surveillance job,under cover on one of the roughest estates in manchester,that was interesting...although nothing actually happend it was quite nerve wracking.

nights fine so far.last night shift tonight,off tomorrow then deadly days at weekend,but a couple of days off next week.im trying to crack the game myst but i'll be dipping in to chat off and on,of course im cheating with a walkthrough but its still a bit beyond me.

i oversee a couple of staff on nights & between us we move freight from felixstowe throughout the country.

the company i work for is freightliner,nothing glam i'm afraid.

hope your nights ok..not to much rushing about,hopefullu have time for a piece of & a cup of later.

as i said i've a night off,but up at 6.00 am,so im only messing for an hour,then early to bed.

oooh! shopping great,
my trouble and strife says she wishes she had a job where she can spend hours on the net.she works in a supermarket everyones panic buying water.nutters i think,she came home knackerd.im tryin to persuade her to join h2g2,but she doesnt get it,well she gets it but is worried about finding a nutter...hehehhe! what are the chances of that eh!

let me think............i'd say there a good chance.

mind you my wife thinks i have an easy job & sit around all day,i said that depends on if you like spending between 14 & 16 hrs a day out of the house..

good luck with the shopping..i hate it coz we have to look & study every b@@ody thing in the shop..
