You were right about the scattered cumulus and the little cloud shadows that look like islands.
The Itasca commander fudged his logs to put more of the blame on weather and on Fred.
Reports from Howland Island indicate that there were fairly normal weather conditions. Scattered cumulus with bases at about 2,300 feet. The Itasca Commander wrote the following summary of radio log transmissions from Amelia at 2.45am local: '...cloudy and overcast.' Again at 3.45am: '..Earhart to Itasca, overcast.' However, the actual radio logs do not indicate the word overcast.
Hope your XP is working right. If not, you are obviously to blame!

Hi there Phred! I found you immediately! The "theory of the shadow of a cloud" --- I think I said before--- came from my flying partner who was an extremely knowlwdgable man.
Today as I was looking for a screen saver Lo and Behold found an Amelia Erhard screen saver among the "Historical figures" But
I want my screen saver back with the sound what I had before: fish swimmig freely in the Ocean with sounds of splashing water.
Yeah, what is the story: Microsoft created an XP Plus software for MONEY naturally because gread teaches things like this to do. Make an additional product for sale where my old screen saver is hiding.
Not so fast! I am negotiating since three days with Microsoft people about the negative sides of this money making products putting on the market one after the other.
No, the price is not that much, but if a couple of million people buy them they addup.
So much for that. bird but it will be

Hello Phred! You are very kind to offer me a great variety of screen savers in place what I have lost.
Thank you very much!
Yesterday my Friend who is helping me a long time with my PC was here and fixed everything what was missing yet including installed a Waterfall screensaver with sound, animation and free.
I have to see how is going to work, at this time it is set for 5 min to go on if there is no activity.
What I was so "upset" about that with the new software of XP I expected to get more. Now that my friend installed everything what he did not do yet, like the Sound etc. it is getting much better "life" with my PC.
But the Microsoft's previous screensaver was put together with some other stuff to sell it separately in addition to XP.
I am regarding this as an unfair business practice, and I would not buy the additional software.
Microsoft dealings is known from the past with some shaky events. Certainly will not support these kind of people who take money so than they can donate for charity and be the "good guys"!
Just figure if $30.00 the price for the addition is multipleid by Thousands if not millions how much it comes to???
But gread never works out ultimately.
Thank you again for your kidness. Greetings from Blue bird
P.S. Your note is printed for future references filed in my archives.

Hello Phred! Just installed "clubaquatica" screen saver what you have sent me being so kind.
Choose the fish swimming and the sound is bubbles, somewhat similer what I had before also it is free.
The waterfalls screen saver developed a problem: it had music, but constantly had a little silent interruption.
I got to my PC and I also talked to my Friend on Skypee and so we installed long distance a new screen saver Thanks to You!!!

Glad you worked it out Blue Bird.
Your sentence structures and references to being without a country have made me curious, but, of course, The internet can be very anonymous if you like it that way.

Hi Phred: there is something to it though what I am saying on my page
I came from Europe quite some time ago and I live here in USA.
But I never went back to my original birthplace. However traveled a lot in other european countries.
This is how things went and goes till today: I am a "foreigner" in US no matter how long live I here. But if I am going to Europe I am ( lately the ugly) "american " who should pick up the tab!
Oh, well than I am the woman without a country! But don'r worry I have an excellent sense of humor and just about it.
I am very happy and satisfied with my life here in America, though in such a long strech have seen better times when I was fliying "high" altitude. It is gone, but the memories are very nice.
The screen saver is coming and going will see in longer run.
Thanks for your kindness. Bbird

Just was watching the screen saver for a little while: excellent.
The fish in great variety is swimming and the sound of bubbles are loud enough to hear it from a distance and to tell me that the computer is on.
That is the reason the sound was so important.
After a while a deep voice is also coming on.
Just love it.!! Bbird
