Just about everything wot I ever wrote is here - A146062. The Other Stuff and Bits and Pieces are just odd phrases and pieces that I added to other people's entries when I edited them.
Don't worry about the animal selection. It was probably a very good one. The way one is seen by others is always a better reflection than the way one sees oneself.
I've always been fond of Great Blue Herons. I wouldn't mind at all if my writing was like one of those. Being a giant squid would probably be an advantage when it came to writing dark mysteries with lots of twists and turns.

You know JTG, I gotten so busy, that today I have already written 6-7 letters ( including one to my lawyer!)
Yeah, they turned my life momentarely upside down from an insurance Co. stopping to pay me! So my lawyer has to look after them! It was long ago for a broken leg that they have to pay me. By court order, so there is no such a thing to stop! Anyway not much money, but it comes handy.
I started to communicate with CAC/GAG combination: who is going to help and whom? The point is: help each other!
I promise to help: human/animals,(????) animal/animals by abolishing Zoos all over, and planting plants, by replacing the destroyed forests all over. So I asked if THEY would help me too!
JTG you better start getting the shovels out to dig for the trees to be planted.
Unfortunately in 2 days we again will have to shovel some snow here!
Yeah,-- the groundhog sleeping and dreaming and laughing about the humans they want to go by car and the snow is in the way!
You lucky you! Blue Heron! When and where can I see a Blue Heron??? Not on this God-forsaken Island ever! May be the Global warming would bring them up here?
No, not yet: the snow birds are coming instead ( from Canada!) Just so tired from the winter! Gecko
Thanx to tell me where is "wot you wrote!" I always loose everything! anyway!

I thought our Great Blue Herons went to spend the winter with you. They do fly off to the Atlantic coast somewhere. Narragansett Bay must be full of them sitting around, playing cards, waiting for spring . At any rate, it will be some time, I think, before we see any around here.
The weather watchers told us to be prepared for a winter storm from Kansas on Friday. Luckily, it was mostly rain, with very little snow in our area this time. Did you see the snow dumped on the poor people in Halifax, NS? They had a meter of snow with drifts of 10 feet or more! They have certainly had more than their fair share of terrible weather recently, particularly with huricane Juan last autumn.
I certainly won't be sorry to trade my snow shovel for a round mouth shovel or a spade. This year is going to be a big year, with lots of exciting planting and new wildflower gardens. I can't wait!

My apology dear JTG, that I did not get back to you sooner.
Before I would answer I went to do a little search on the Great Big Blue Heron.
I did not find an awfully lot, but got to know so much that certainly lives on the East side of North America starting up at Ontario. The main diet is fish. It is also obvious he has to stay in an aerea where water is and fish in it.
In severe winter he will go further south! There is no chance to see that bird here in the winter. Other than that how dirty the waters can get here!
When I was in Florida in winter time, certainly saw many of them.
That is why I thought he would be a semi tropical bird! Not really, just so far as he can go fishing.

It's a welcome sign of spring to see those big blue-grey ghosts flapping northward. They look supernatural because the wing beats seem to slow to keep such a big bird in the air. They have a very distinct rythm which is easy to spot from a great distance.
Someone told me once that some Great Blue Herons overwinter in Chesapeake Bay. They do fish in salt water marshes and so on; I've seen them on Prince Edward Island fishing in estuaries and saltwater lagoons. They also eat snakes and frogs.
Once, a long time ago, one took off from a tree branch over my head. I didn't even know it was there. It gave me such a fright, as it sounded like someone suddenly shaking a big tablecloth.

I started to write you 1 line--- when somebody called. So much for the continuity to work for me.
Anyway you have a wonderful opportunity there with wildlife I said this before. The lake there and generally less human invasion in that area is very favorable for beautiful events to come about!
I had the best experinces in Florida---- long time ago--- in Sanibel Island. There is an established refuge for birds called the Ding Dong darling. It was a total entertainement to see at evening time how the eggrets went to sleep! Hundreds and hundreds to make the arrengement for the night!

I really have a problem to find things on this site. Our conversation is at the end of my Space. This is never a problem. But when I write here and there, like I started with CAC/GAG UnderGuide--- I can not find my first note! Mostly I make a little print, but sometimes I forget, and than I can spend some time to find my way back!
It is late again, and tomorrow I'll have a busy day coming. See you than again in the late hours. Gecko

There are a lot of people squeezed into the area between the Great Lakes, one of the few areas in Canada where the winters are fairly mild and you don't freeze to the mail box trying to bring in the morning newspaper.
Most of the birds I see in the winter go further north when the weather warms up. So winter is the best time, I think, to see a lot of different birds. There are many different kinds of ducks which sepnd the winter in the shallows, diving for whatever it is they eat. They are very entertaining to watch, as they go about their business.
Ding Dong Darling! What a wondeful name! That must have been quite a sight, seeing all those egrets in one place.
________________
Your conversations should all be listed from newest to oldest. In Classic Goo, there is a link at the bottom of the list called 'Click here to see more Conversations'. That will take you to a list of all the conversations you have had since you signed on. There is a similar set-up for Entries you have written, too. In the Brunnel skin, conversations seem to be the most important thing, as they are at the top of the page. With Brunnel you can either click 'Show more conversations' at the bottom of the list or click 'My Conversations', which will open another window with nothing but a list of all your conversations.
A problem I sometimes run into is that I tend to get conversation threads mixed up, as I often use the same or similar subject headings (such as 'Hi there' or 'Friends of Tibet', etc. ) when I start a new one. That can often create confusion, because then you end up with a list containing multiple conversations with the same name.

This was yesterday, yes a day went by and I did not get to my usual evening conversation. Yesterday I went to see my doctor, with whom I have a very friendly relationship after 20 years! No, there was no problem, I just go and sniff around if everything is all right. But these visits takes a lot of time, And than I got tired.
But I got to know he went surfing in Porto Rico and did not go skiing in Switzerland. But will go next week. Now he is really cutting down on his work. Good for him. I also said that it would be time to pick myself up, and go somewhere.
I went to Sears Roebuck today! Gee, that really was a trip. Never ever drove on a nasty road like that as I went there! The demages of the winter makes it impossible to go some places!
So what will be: they will raise the taxes again and again.
The weather is getting so nice, that the TV man said: since November we did not reach this warmth of close 50F as expected for the week-end!
That makes 3 solid months to be in the freezer!
Hardly can wait a couple of more days for the snow to go away and than hire guys to start to clean up my fairly big yard. March the month of Spring is at the door! Let's let him/her in!! WOW! SPRING!

That was 'yes-a-day'... now we know where the name came from.
That's good news from your doc! It must be nice to lead such a jet set lifestyle! I've been cutting back on work, too, but I'm still not likely to get the chance anytime soon to fly off to Switzerland.
The roads here have also suffered a lot from the winter; everywhere there are potholes, which can make driving a challenge. The stuff that comes out of the potholes is often even more dangerous. Last winter a big truck threw a piece of paving into the air which hit my windshield. I watched it rise into the air and fly towards me; but, of course, there was not time to react. Luckily, it wasn't big enough to break the window, merely leaving a chip in the safety glass.
Perhaps spring will come early this year. Do we deserve such a treat? Let's hope so! It has been gorgeous here for the past four days. A lot of the snow has gone; although there is still a lot left. The big dirty snow piles are gradually melting, revealing crags of grit and sand (and damaged shopping carts ) like old mountain ranges.
Hurry up Springtime; we've got some gardening to do!!!

Blue Bird Posted Mar 1, 2004
This sunday evening I really have to talk to you! It certainly was ABOVE normal temp. today! It was not too much sunshine, but one could change a coat for a lighter one!
Yeah, but have mixed feelings! In the early afternoon I looked around the "garden" which WAS a garden! There is no sign for weaking up yet. All my groundcovers are still sleeping with their heads bending down.
There was such winter here long time ago that at this time had crocouses blooming in full display!
But what bothers me the most, that I had (?) or HAVE a tree, which grew on his own possibly from a seed which was blown by the wind. They call it New York State symbol(?) DOGWOOD TREE however it is kind of fussy tree and it is hard to keep it for a long time.
My self-setting tree was under a big oak, which they like very much.
It seems to me: there is no bud! Perhaps is dead? Now that will be very sad for me, because it was a mighty nice tree!
Made some babys too, and my doctor came last year to dig the baby up, because it was just too close to the Mother! (I wonder if the Baby made it through the winter??!)
But I did some gardening even so! The Paperwhite Narcissus -- which were blooming the entire January, filling my living room with intoxicating fragrence ---- were discarded today,-- and in the same pots put some bulbs of Grape Hyacint's. Actually they were forgotten in the fall to be put into the ground. I saw some life in
them as I took them out of the bag. Are they alive after being in the garage in -20 C. ??Will see what happens?

Now I have an idea, which I can post to one of those open spots, before one starts to break the head over an edited ( accepted) Guide Entry.
Our conversations almost every single day certainly is an informative diary made by 2 people!
Dialogs can be very entertaining and lively which is my cup of
The question is: how could we make out of over hundred of pages an Entry, perhaps to be presented in the UNDERGUIDE ofcourse???
Because what we do is not just chit-chat words back and fort which is not much of an interest for more mature people, but the every day exchange of events and thoughts--- with some editing--- could be an interesting piece of work in a category which is to our liking.
What do you say? How could be done? How would you edit? ( if you are interested! ofcourse.
So much for this day!

Last thing first:
What a good idea! You're right; our conversation has been much more interesting than the usual chatter; it deserves to be turned into an entry.
Your suggestion for turning into something for the Underguide is perfect. I'll have to think about how would be the best way to go about it.
How about if you assemble the pieces and I'll edit and do the GuideML?

I wouldn't worry about the dogwood for a while. I have one at work that always looks dead at the end of winter; yet the poor thing lingers on, being bullied by a giant poplar tree. There may be some die-back, but I doubt that this winter would have killed it, unless it was already very weak.
The bulbs, too, should be alright, as long as they didn't rot when they were in storage. I've had some Narcissus for years that were potted plants rescued from a compost pile.

I really had an accident last night: my foot got cought in a chair and I fell a mighty big Puff!!! So I went to bed and I was very disappointed!
But nothing broke I think! Sofar--- 24 hrs later.
Than I stayed longer in bed and so I could think. I can think only in horizontal position! I thought about our conversations!
Here is wot I thought:
We use other names, nicknames of nicknames! How about: Jack and Jello?
Jack and Jello are talking to each other--- like if it was on a "stage" conversation.
Jack: "Hi Jello! Nice to see you back on the "scene!"
Jello: "Jack, I am so happy to be back!" It was horroble, while I was
lost!" etc. etc....
--------------------
I have to print the entire 3+ months conversations to recap our "chattering" so that it would make sence what is all about what WE (Jack with Jello) in collective joint effort trying to present as something new and splendid!
Naturally this would not be possible without your contribution of your fine and sophisticated english literature language, which many times is THRILLING for me! Even if my english is not perfect I can enjoy and appriciate when somebody excelles in it! You have written a couple of times in a very poetic way during this time! Yeah, I did not say it, but is never too late to let you know!
Ofcourse: please you also think about some other names, because Jack and Jello is really just an ad hoc bluff.
Also I thought for my writings in general: before starting a long story ( like in science research reports) first there is always an ABSTRACT: In a few sentences to tell what is this article about! The reader gets an idea if it is worth reading or not!
For example: for Winter Sunset this would be the ABSTRACT:
A lyric essay from a nature lover for proving that one can enjoy pets without locking them up.
Than start the story ..... ( One page long).
In our case it is important a stricking ABSTRACT, because a great deal of this community is involved with mathematics,-- computer stuff, and other "dry" stuff of the human mind. We don't have any of that. But it would not hurt, if we could make these "eggheads" broadening their close minds! Say: "Hey You! No matter what, you are part of Nature even in Nature there is no math. only in your mind."== I am just telling you this JTG --- whispering. Shuu- hope they don't hear it!
It is your turn JTG ( Jack or..plse to meet you)
This is for today.
(Have some aches and small pains here and there yet, so I go think some more)
Good night and Good Day, what ever comes first! Gecko

How is your poor foot? I hope that nothing is broken! It's a good job that you didn't hit your head when you fell! That could have been very nasty.
Horizontal is definitely the best position for thinking, especially in a steaming hot bath. They do say that you shouldn't meditate lying down. I wonder why not.
Nicknames of nicknames is a good idea. I like that . whatever names you pick will be fine by me.
Have you seen the film, 'My Dinner with Andre'? It would be fun to take our conversation and put it in a restaurant, complete with waiters intruding every so often. In fact, it would be fun to have a constantly changing context, such as riding in an elevator with different people constantly coming and going.
Thanks for the kind words about my writing. I get a bit carried away sometimes, so I'm glad you like it.
Welcome back
Blue Bird Posted Mar 4, 2004
The constantly changing context would make it even more dynamic, which ofcourse is very much in line with my ( gecko) temperament!
Gee is getting better and better!: working together, because more head knows more!
OK, so you are in a restaurant ( no, I did not see that film, but saw Breakfast at Tiffany but forgetten),---But I see now on TV the silly show of Seinfeld! ( No good,) The seinfelds happenings revolving in a restaurant! Eating drinking interests everybody!

Jack is in a restaurant called??? ( "Kan-guru Pouch " ???) looking at the menu while the big busted waitress is waiting at his table, -- when Jello walks in.
Jack:
"welcome back Jello! Oh, how nice to see you returning to your favored spot here at Kan-guru."
Jello: "Yeah! But you would not believe what I went through to find my way Back!" " I feel so happy and full of joy to share as I am trying to fit in here into "Kan-guru's pouch" like I used to!"
Jack: "What happened to you? How did you get lost?"......(excerpt)

JTG please listen to me with 2 ears:
Prologue:
“Here is something, some for you
Something else, but something new
Come to see at Kan-guru
In her pouch what we do”
“Jack and Jello got together
Having fun like never ever,
Wot so funny? let me know
Cut and action: let us go!”
This is the Introduction. Wot do U say? Don't be shy! If you don't like it, tell me and welcome to any suggestions!

P.S. I am busy on WORD to get the "story" together.
However I don't know how to get it to you for Editing, where changes can be made and also before we put it out on display in the Underguide.?????

That's brilliant! I love it! Keep it up.
Maybe the easiest way to write this would be if you started a new Entry in 'plain text'. Then I can copy an paste to edit and add the GML.

Well, I don't do anything else anyway just plain text.
A new title is OK,-- but what I write on WORD I should transfer to MY SPACE and from there you can copy-paste and after you got it than I can delete from my space. Is this it? Ofcourse in WORD is saved and I can put it on flappy disk or CD. Yeah, I think that is it. Thanks.

It might be better to copy it to a new Entry, as there is a lot of conversation to cover and it will take up a lot of space. But whatever you fel most comfortable with is fine by me.
