Hi Gecko,
I got your message on the Ireland researchers page.
So well done - you have an entry to put into Peer Review! What you need to do first is the following.
Find the button "Add Guide Entry" on your home page. Click it.
You will see a new screen "Add Guide Entry". Put the title of your entry into the "Subject" box, and then go to the "Content" box, and paste your entire entry in there. Click the "Preview" button, and you will see what it looks like.
If you want to spruce the entry up, you need to switch to GuideML - you will see the setting on the page. You will then need to insert all the appropriate GuideML tags to make it work properly.
When you are finished or want to take a break for a while, click the "Add Guide Entry" button. This saves your entry for later on.
See how you do - when you are ready you can go forward into Peer Review. We'll save that discussion for later .

Dear Woodpigeon Thank you for your fast and kind reply. Everything is done already just as you telling me to do.
Please look my Entry under the title: My first researched Entry.
I wrote it with Microsoft WORD format, and the Copy and Paste worked very well: INSTANTLY!! ( YEEPEE!)
Than I looked the print from " A Climb into the Clouds" Edited by Woodpigeon and the format was exactly the same. I thought if it is good for you, it is good for me too. ( Plain text.)
"The Legend of the White Stag" is not finished. What I posted is the first part only.
The exciting stuff is just coming: the result of a month search for the truth, the whole truth and nothing else but the truth! ( Yeah, I was in Court and I won the case because I said the truth).
My article is not ready for submitting yet. Though what the truth is : not for us to know. You will find endless theories about the linguistic questions done by many ambitious scholars.
GML we can contemplate later as well some ancient illustrations which are not under copyright I would love to enclose.
Sincerely I am greatful for the inspiration, which I will express so that The Community will know: "how the cooky crumbles"
Now I know the track and the piece will be soon finished. Gecko

I am posting these words here of disappointment, not to addressed to you what so ever! This note is here only to let you know what happend. Now is my turn to go on vacation!
Dear Woodpigeon: I finished the article about The Miracoulus White Stag. Submitted to Peer Review. Got bad critique( Yeah! Look who are those ????!!!
I'll remove it: gladly Other things does not work out eighter with visual stuff, and that will end to any further research. (Good bye to Jimster and Mina too!)
I hang around here and there with conversation, but really don't have time for the effort to produce articles being found so, that does not fit into h2g2 profile. ( The scouts responsibility) I did not come to argue here with limited possibilities. (Also shouting to deaf ears)
Have an arsenal of opportunity on WWW, thousands of forums where I can use my visual interest, use my Microsoft ready made tools being
on friendly terms with Bill Gates products, fast, efficient, enjoyable web communication.
Interested? Glad to share anytime. I'll keep my reduced page here, perhaps I'll change name again. ( For a woman it is not so unusual with marriges) My freedom in art can not be curtailed.
I am not the only one and I am not alone to come to such conclusions.
Gecko
P.S. Yeah! When I used my name Jung Wing I was to be ACE-d? What about the WATER article? Who contributed to it? And more and more...
Thanks ( scouts) for making me laugh... Thanks, no bother any more.... Of couse: I understand, and I even find some logic in it...

Hi Gecko, I had a good holiday - actually it was too good. After two weeks of zero stress, I'm really struggling here at work since I got back. Its like I hit a huge stress barrier at 90 mph!
I had a great time in France with my family. My children were amazing, that's all I can say. My daughter has just started walking - it was terrific to watch her.
I would not get too discouraged by the reaction in Peer Review. Most of the commentary was actually quite supportive I think. You probably just submitted it a bit too early. Actually I never submitted by "Walk in the Clouds" article to Peer Review, as it would not be accepted. You need to write in a very factual mode, so its actually a lot more difficult to do it than people assume. It goes back to Douglas Adam's original idea for the site - an encyclopaedia about life, the universe and everything written by us humble researchers. However, this excludes things like memoirs or personal opinions or jokes or poems or fictional accounts. It also has to be grammatically well written. The Writing Guidelines say a lot more about it.
I'm off to the US next week by the look of it. Somewhere near Chicago I think. It's all work related though and I'll be away from my family, so I'm not over-exited about it.

Thanks for your kind note. I am very happy that you enjoyed your vacation.
I do not know about your link to France? Also to travel with so young children can not be easy. Though you don't deal with jet-lag which makes much harder to travel to Europe from here.
There you are on the road again!? Sorry in a way to leave your lovely family, but than you can see the world and if it is not your expense it is not a bad proposition.
I'll be back to tell you: have something very good thing coming up to do with artwork to make really work! Tell you later!
OK call me gecko! But who has my picture??? Is there an other gecko? But there is no other 211101 researcher = Number power in human communication!
P.S. I have to clear up this with my GURU!!!

Cont. to my previous msg.
The good thing about useful art I mentioned before is to work with a newly formed organization. These people are involved with children's wards in hospitals, where sick children are treated. With entertaining paintings drawings, children can be distracted from pain.
The founders of this organization visited my studio and 3 works of mine was taken with great welcome, - but as usual: everything art is on volunteer basis.
I am reestablishing the Status Quo of researcher Gecko. The support group has to give me a new password. Than the nickname will come back.
I am planning to write the second part of the linguistic complex, hopefully with more "mature" results. Unfortunately no matter how much I "dig" all over, there are no definete answers in history from the past til the present. However there are interesting conclusions written by devoted scholars.
Enjoy the visit to the US, one always can find worthwhile for the trip. The Chicago Art Museum is very rich! If you would have time for a pleasent break from business. See you soon back! Gecko
