Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear }

Geee, do you suppose she might mention a relative of hers today? May 24th is still celebrated in Canada, as the birthday of Queen Victoria ... Though she may not be amused to know that most celebrate it by taking a Monday off of work, opening cottages and camping grounds, with great measures of beer. smiley - drunk

I haven't been into the town centre for years,i go to the nearest inside shopping "mall".I don't doubt that we have many things people find interesting,but it holds no charm for me anymore!!!!!

hi sal
-
i keep saying one of these days i will take the tour of the museum
-
i couldnt go to a film at the imam, the lights coming on after the film would give me the worst migrain ive had in years.
-
you have to admit the guides on the entries are so out of date, there was one that mentions the buildings but not the beauty they had that as now been made modern.
-
there is plenty for tourists in less than half a mile in any direction smiley - peacedove jim xx

Have you ever been round City Hall jim??It's lovely in there,and very interesting.
All the old mills have gone,they're all apartment blocks now,The old cinemas are obsolete,and the swan arcade,which was lovely ,went years ago.
I honestly don't think it will ever be the same as it was when we were teenagers,it's such a shame.smiley - sadface

The old part of the Tand A has been modernised a lot inside jim,but it's over ten year since i worked there.I've never been in since the day i left,but i worked there for 18 years,so i knew the building like going home!!!The new part,the all glass bit,isn't that interesting though.
Now the alhambra might be a different mattersmiley - smiley
