Hiya Jabs! Where are you? How are you doing? I'm doing fine -- I'm very excited about Leo's new movie, Inception.

Jus' thought I'd say hello to my favourite creative artist, and show I'm still here.

Any more chapters? You can write to a publishable standard too, you know.

You probably do know. I'm just showin' off that I can recognise good writing when I see it.

Hey, it's really good to hear from you! I've been a little blue. And I'm missing Terri. I haven't typed in any more chapters, but maybe I should. I'll think about it, and if I do type more in, you'll be the first to know. I've been working on a painting of one of my friends and her cat. Did I tell you I got a Kindle? I just love it. A Kindle is Amazon's ebook.

Hi Ellen,

Still blue? I hope not. Here's a little pome wot I rote speckiably:

Ellen - I'd like a little message from you
Telling me if you're blue or not blue
And about the things that you do -
Thanks for befriending me on Facebook too, and
Now you've seen me, (looking a bit fierce, no?), and I've seen you, (looking nice, warm, and friendly)

[Am I like you imagined me? I don't remember if I've seen your picture before, but I must have, as you looked just like I expected you to look - unless it was something spiritual or whatever]

Jabs smiley - ok

Hi Jabs, honey! Oh, it's a sad day for h2g2. Thank goodness you've joined Facebook, and we can still visit. I didn't see your post till now, you look a little different than I thought. For some reason I thought you were clean shaven. LOL I'm going through my journal, reading stuff from the old days, while I still can. Aww, hugs, I'm so sad.

I'm sad and angry too, Ellen. I'm not very good at working out how to reply on Facebook, as you'll see. But I'm glad we're still friends on there, at least. My picture - don't I look fierce! We have a new Tory government who believes in drastic cuts everywhere, hates the BBC, and believes in privatisation, even of the National Health Service. Can you see how they all have come together in what has happened to h2g2? See my post 155 at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F77636?thread=8018187&skip=140&show=20 I think it's a disgrace, and very sad for a lot of people who are probably going to lose a lot of friends. Jabs

You'll get to see more pictures of me and Rembrandt on Facebook. Yes, your photo looks a little fierce, but I think that may be due to the slightly blue lighting, which I assume was coming from the computer screen?

Ah me, Ah me. The weird thing is that I was sad about h2g2 earlier this week, BEFORE I found out about the BBC not hosting it. I was sad that so many people had left, and that I got so few messages.

It was shock, of course, Ellen - then it would be such a shame, as I had 3 poetry threads (+ one not mine) and one story thread that were going very well and involving some very talented friends. I like talented friends, (you, for example), and it's amazing to see some people discovering their talents for writing - I think everyone is talented in some way or another if only given a chance. Now it will be that much harder for us to find places on the net to publish, and if we do, we probably won't be together any more.

I know what you mean about people fading away too, though.

Hiya Jabs, are you back? Good to see you. We need to talk about the movie The Adjustment Bureau. I loved it. Stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. Has it opened where you are?

[back on line - hopefully]

No, the only things here that open are beer cans and sauce bottles, I'm afraid.

Thanks, WFAT.

So was I, but I didn't reckon with the prewar practices of British Telecom. As it is they've only done half the job so far.

Hello Jabs, my friend! Have you seen any of the flower pics I posted on Facebook? I've managed to get some good shots now that Spring is here. And I am clicker training my cat, which is lots of fun. What's new with you?

Hi Ellen,

Can't tell you how nice it is to hear from you, and to see your work. You're a true friend.

I'm not very keen on h2g2 these days unfortunately - after a long break it all seems different, even if it isn't - but I hope to see you now and then.
