Well folks..even though I consider myself a pretty insignificant entity in the whole scheme of things on h2g2 I have to say to any friends I have out there that I probably wont be back on this site for a good long time if not ever.
So to anyone out there reading this I wish to thankyou all(you know who you are)for being friendly and giving a wee bit of yourselves to me.I'm very much in a state of confusion with my real life and cant contribute positively, so have decided it is time to have a period of absence from being online.
Thankyou all once again.your a great bunch of people.Take care one and all

Today I went with my girlfriend to
Cardonald Dog and Cat Home to see if she could rescue an animal.
This was mainly due to her previous dog(of 10 years) sadly dying 6 weeks ago and the fact that she was advised by everyone that she should have another dog to fill the void in her life.
After a great deal of choosing she made a decision to take home a beautiful, young(roughly 2 years old) Border Collie who we have now named "Megan".
Surprisingly "Megan" has settled in very quickly and seems to have the most wonderful nature.
She also has manic obsession for ball's.I've come to think this must be a trait Collies have as i have made enquiries to other owners and they tell the same story.
She also has written on her documentation, that she was a stray and had been in the home for over 3 weeks.
I'm very much surprised that the former owner of the dog did not try to retrieve her as shes ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
This just made me wonder why people get dogs in the first place.
I'm very proud of my wee woman who could have quite easily got a pup for free.. but decided to save a life instead.
And im so glad she did.
It also states on "Megans
" paperwork that she has "Wall Eyes".
I'd love to find out where this expression originates from.If anyone out there knows please let me know.
