..my birthday is in December too (39), and I used to hate having it so close before Christmas as a kid, since it always seemed that I got less gifts than my brother (whose birthday is in the end of May)

I know just what you mean - I have never had a birthday party - sob sniffle! But I think my parents always made sure that I had seperate presents for Christmas and Birthday...

I am hoping that no longer being the answer to the big question will give me a more relaxed year. I hope 2003 will be a better year for everyone (Mr. Bush permitting)!
