Happy Holidays
Posted Dec 24, 2002
i would like to say merry christmas, happy new year, happy chaunaka (spelled wrong), happy kwanzaa, and have a blessed winter solstice (which already passed). being a winter solstice celebrator myself, i have to say that i really enjoyed myself on the 21st. and i am about to celebrate christmas with my family which is a nice thing too because 2 years ago i was not with my family. truth be told, i was being beaten to a bloody pulp by a man who pretended to love me. so being with my family for christmas really means alot to me now. it's a good thing. so yes.....happy holidays to all and i hope everyone got the prezzies they wanted!!!

my brain hurts

just because it is bouncing around my head....
Tiberius Claudius Drusus Nero Germanicus, later called Tiberius Claudius Caesar Agustus Germanicus, Fourth recognized Emperor of the Roman Empire, father of Nero, who fiddled as Rome burned (not historically, but you know...), uncle to the Third Emperor Caligula, who turned the Senate into an Orgy, he who (alledgedly according to Robert Graves) made the Lady poisoner Livia (wife of Caesar Agustus, first recognized Emperor of Rome) into a Goddess, yadda yadda yadda. Julius was NOT awarded the title of Emperor. Emperor was a military title awarded by the senate. it did not mean rular. therefore, agustus was the first emperor, followed by tiberius, then caligula, then claudius, then nero, then i have no clue because that is when my interest fades. so yeah, i am a history major and my concentration was going to be in the span of the roman empire between agustus and nero. i am a dork with no college home unfortunately. oh well, life goes on. READ I, CLAUDIUS AND CLAUDIUS THE GOD BY ROBERT GRAVES!!!!!!!

moving along...
Posted Nov 23, 2002
and so i continue to try and make sense of all things life-like as i laugh and cheer my team (OSU) to beat our all time rivals (Michigan) and to advance to the fiesta bowl. i have decided that i love american football too much because i have way too much fun watching college games. my mind wanders as i hear my father's truck in the driveway and i wonder why it is that my recently released from the hospital after heart surgery mother still smokes. wishing for a root beer (or a regular beer, i am not too sure) and a cigarette, i decided to log out and go freeze on the front porch to have a smoke, wondering when the snow will start again. i wonder when father will get a christmas tree. i wonder when i will actually leave the house today. i wonder when i will learn when to stop writing BEFORE i write too much.....Hehe.....anyway, moving right along.........

random thoughts

as my mind swirls around in the most recent of the wild event malestroms that has beseiged it i am left with the feeling that i am missing something...something that is too big to miss and yet to small to be seen. if it were anything else it would jump at me and bite me. but my mind wanders away, too engrossed in the odd things running throught it, and i once again miss the obvious. answers are not always found easily i know, but when one serches for so long when can one expect to find one? i slide closer to my sprite, wishing it was scottish tea, and once again wish that i could smoke in the house. the CD currently in my personal player clicks on to the next track and i am suddenly hit with a massive craving. the wild event malestrom receeds and all i can see before me is what i want most in the universe......Ewan MacGregor, a bed, and 2 hours to kill. well, not in real life but when my mind wanders i pretty much see whatever i want to he he...
anyway, i am off to have a ciggie.
