work

Ah it was soo easy, get some grades, choose what job you want to do, wicked! A little bit of a. licking, a bit of hard work. NOT! Why oh why do schools never teach you you`re more likely to be in a job you SIMPLY tolerate. You do it `cos you have to pay for things you want to see, hear, taste, experience.(oh yeah, the rent!) I known a few mates to realise the dreams they`ve had which makes me proud as .... for them, but mostly me and my mates are just bumbling through. It was okay when we were all in our early 20`s - but this year we all turned 27, and the questions have started to crop up.
I want to have my own house instead of renting but i can`t see a well paid job coming up where I could afford it. Were all priced out of the area we were all born in (were from all around the uk)and the city we live in (leeds)
untill then, it`s call centre this, call centre that!
I lie to the general public for a living! Well i used to. Walked out on tha last c.centre job for that same reason.
Now I refuse to work anywhere where I have to wear a tie or a manky uniform. It`s a small stance, but I feel better and never felt so under-depressed (?!) in my adult life
It`s tough being a bloke.
If i knew then as a 17 year old what I know now. I`d would of become a deliquent `yoof` intead - at least some job satisfaction comes from that.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
