Hey Mutant!
Same ol', same ol', I'm afraid. Yes, Dubya is probably still the stupidest person alive. When I think of how pathetic humans are...ARGH!!
Anyway....yes, I'm a woman. No worries! Doesn't upset me a bit, really. A few have wondered, I'm sure, and a few have assumed me to be male. Bob knows it would be nice. I wouldn't mind being paid a decent wage, earning respect, being seen as a valuable member of society...ya know?
Back when I first became an Internet Junky I met a fair amount of the Dark Diamond crew (back then I don't think we had Dark Diamond, it was called Dear Elton, I think...oh, go see my article!) they thought I was a man. Like an idiot I said nothing (it doesn't really matter to me, I'm pretty masculine anyway) but it caught up with me a year later and I nearly lost my best friend. Besides, if there's ever a hootoo meet up in the States it would wack everyone out if I walked in the room with breasts. Haha!
Thanks for the note. How are things in your part of the globe?

mmmm not all males are respected members of the comunity .... as proof I present myself
personally I don't really care which gender you are But the whole "madman" thing did make me think you where most likely a male
well in my world there is a ton of stress, all I pretty much do is study, talk to Steph, mail Lauda and look around hootoo (interupted by training the kids in the local taekwondo club every now and again) (I should be training myself to.... but can't find the time these weeks )
well as you can see there is nothing big going on here in my part of the globe, I think we are suposed to take a vote about the new EU constitution (I'm against all EU and for anything UN) but haven't heard anything about it for several months.
I must dash, getting up at 5 in the morning tommorrow *sigh*

I'm getting kind of freaked out here, Mutant. All of a sudden fuel prices have shot up to $5 and $6 a gallon, whereas they were between $2.30-2.85. My mother says that something similar happened in the 1970s when some people lied about a fuel shortage. She said the economy pretty much went to hell.
This time, because of the hurricane, it may be true that there is a real fuel shortage, although now I think Dubya is actually going to release the federal reserves to take some of the pressure off. But how long will that last, ya know?
Now I know why I've felt so paranoid these last two weeks. I knew some major s**t was about to go down. I don't think there's anything we can do about it, either.

here gazoline prices have shoot above 11 kr for one liter of gazoline, which is a new record here in DK
something simulair happend in DK in the 70'ies to I think, they had to ban all civilians from using their cars on sundays. I can't imagine them getting away with doing that over there in the states though
back when I had "International economy" I used to see a lot of tables off the imports/exports of USA, it always stunned me how much you imported in comparasom of how little you exported (which should lead to inflation if I remember correctly) (which makes sence since we used to have to pay 7 kr to get 1 $ where we are now paying 5 kr for 1 $) (but don't hold me up on those numbers, haven't checked them)
releasing the federal reserves are always tricky since those reserves need to be built back up again, that is how it usally works in a special situation. Something really really bad happends suddently -> release reserves -> that particular bad thing goes away -> money starts comming back in -> reserves getting build back up. The problem as I see it is that the economy in USA is allready really really bad and I don't see a way to improve that situation without USA at least starting to cooperate with other countries (instead of its current "do as we say"-technique). Bush has had two tries at this (when he entered office the first time and when all countries rallied behind USA after september 11'th) and still everyone pretty much loathe the USA now. Personally I always wanted to come to USA and study (perharps work and live) (hey at least then I wouldn't get the "why won't you just read/write danish"-stare ) but as things are right now I'm actually starting to fear what Bushs administration might do next
I to think something very very bad is going to happen soon, I just hope someone makes sure Bush doesn't get near the button(s) to those nukes you have
sorry for taking so long to reply, kinda put it on my todo-list when I recieved your message and then I sorta forgot
well I better get back to studying Look foreward to hearing from you again, I think I kinda lost track of what I was trying to say

There is something about hootooers and poking, I swear. Kats used to do that to me as well.
No, I've not forgotten you, Mutant. I've been studying my tuckhas off and had my first exams this morning for the General Education Diploma here. They were fairly easy and I have the last ones tomorrow. I may not know for 4-6 weeks what my scores are, though. They make us write an essay and it goes to Atlanta, where actual persons evaluate them. My topic was about a positive change in my life. I wrote about ditching veterinary medicine.
How are you, dear Mutant? How are your studies coming along?
