no time

My first look @ h2g2 in quite a while. Life is just too busy and varied to be able to spend as much time here as i'd like.

modern tech and it's effect on my jazz collection

Well my hometown library has jumped into the web major. We have entered into a collective with 20 other libraries in the met chicago area and it provides me with access to the catalogs of all 21 and let's me ask for and hold materials which are then sent to my local where I pick them up.
I'm just starting to really get into it,I've borrowed several Miles Davis and John Coltrane discs and copied them. What a great way to expand my collection! Hats off to new tech!
I also got to borrow Douglas Adams computer game "Starship Titanic" charming ,very charming.
