WANTED Rap

Hey. Just giving an update on the rap. Haven't gotten much done, because I can't use the audio sequencer I got. I'm giving the sample to my friend Brian who will decide if he wants it or not.

Also, I'll give him the vocal rips from his tape. He'll enjoy that, most likely.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (ONLY 2 MORE DAYS)

OMG! I HATE MY COMPUTER! I HAD THIS WHOLE THING WRITTEN AND MEDIA PLAYER CHANGED THE SITE! I LOST IT ALL!

Anyway, with only two days left, all the Metal Gear fans in America are anticipating the release of the best game of 2004. Yes, better than Halo 2, and yes it is better than Half-Life 2. It is the final chapter of the Metal Gear Solid Trilogy, soon to blow our minds with this enchanting story, realistic gameplay, and great smooth controls. Who cares if the graphics will look better on Xbox? YOU CAN'T PLAY WELL ON AN XBOX. Seriously, this is the way the game is ment to be played.

If you've seen TGS or GC 2004 Trailer you obviously know to a certain extent what is going to happen to Snake (Whoever he may be). Let me only confirm there are two missions and it IS set in the 1960s. Whether or not Solid Snake will still make an appearance in the game whether you play as him or not is still to be decided. If you're so anxious like me, go buy the game. I've already pre-ordered through Ebay, and I will be eagerly starting at the mailbox until it gets here. I will say I've heard the game will take 25 hrs to beat, making it the longest MGS yet, unless it took you a long time on MG2: Solid Snake or a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY Long time on Metal Gear Solid.

Okay, I am done writing. Look out for my next review, which will be on Snake Eater, but SPOILER FREE to a certain extent. I have to set up the plot as in all reviews, and definitely comment the graphics and gameplay overall. In any case, be prepared for a great review. Also coming out in two days is the MGS3 CD single with Snake Eater's Themes and the instrumental version, which I plan to get whether or not the key disc works on the US version. See ya later.

Elections / Catch-22

SO, Here it is. Bush leading by quite a few electoral votes (39) and it all depends on if Ohio swings to Kerry or not. Hopefully, it WILL. Sorry, but I do think Kerry should take position as the POTUS. Anyway, whatever the outcome, we'll all have to see what people will follow from their speeches.

In other news, I am reading the book by Joseph Heller, Catch-22. I'll be writing an entry on it when I finish. What's the catch? Catch-22. For those of you who never heard the expression, it is a loop in which you can't do one thing before the other, but you can't do the other before the first. Or either way you are left with the same outcome.

Great story so far. I'll see ya later.

Rap: Wanted

Composition of the Wanted rap is Underway. I'll soon release a lyrics listing, and also included is a Midi File of what I have3 so far. Sorry, but the final product will be mixed Midi, so it'll sound a little weird. Just I need to figure out how to make the vocal track combine with the Music for the CD version. The live version will not have vocals, but will be performed by Brian Skubic. Included is the sample, Enjoy!

Update

Just to keep you aware, I am currently working on the Metal Gear Solid 2 Review, but it didn't save and I lost half of it. It's in progress, and next time i get to work I plan to finish it off.

Also, I just downloaded a freeware program to mix from tucows.com. I am working with it to create my Rap thingy, and once it's done I will post it if possible. I'll get it out somewhere.

Anyway, lots going on, plus a concert at Benaroyal Hall on the 31st, so I will be very busy. Hope to talk to you soon.
