I know that NAASA put a probe out last year and it was to go and land on astroid. The type of engine it was using was one that got faster as it travelled. I cannot remember the name of the type of the engine used.

There is talk of developing Skylon which will be the successor to the space shuttle.

Diddy I think earlier this year or last year there was a tv programme about the viability of different layers of universes and the possibility of travelling through space via worm holes. The progamme was alright for the first half hour but after that it got more confusing to understand.

They said in the programme that space travel would be alot easier if we used worm holes as it would alot less time to travel to different galaxies.

Well as you probably know Stephen hawking has given some conclusive exidence that there are wormholes out there.

Let's hope they don't take us to the gamma quadrant n meet up with them horrible Jem'Hadar. grrrrrr

Yes i heard about this probe Kat but again my memory on that subject is very sketchy.

There is alot of talk at the mo in America that the original moon landings were a hoax. Have you heard about this Kat?

If only i could copy n paste thread links in here cus on Ask H2G2 not so long back there was some people talking about it with a link to a site.

No-one believed the hoax tho. I for one believe there has been moon landings.

Do you think we will go to the moon for holidays soon Kat?

Well they are giving trips into space aren't they? (If you've got several thousand pounds of course)

Phil I have read about the skylon project in some books and on the space bbci page as well as Tomorrows World. One project is to cut ordinary air travel through going into orbit temporary and then landing at the proposed destination. I do not know much about the project as there is not much information going about it.

I think not only we will be going to the moon for our holiday's but the moon will be colonzised. The say the only real way forward to space exploration is colonziation of the moon.

I even remember when the moon landings were made in 1969. One of my childhood ambitions was to be an astronaut.
