iv a funny story to tell while i was searching not long ago hee! hee!

i did a search on 'PREGNANCIES IN 40'S'

i expected to find an article on women getting pregnant in their forties but wot do i find?? yep u guessed it sumthing totally irrelevant LOL

about second or third on the list was an article called 'WORLD WAR 2 RATIONS'

i thawt about it rationally and maybe they thawt i was searching for women getting pregnant in the 1940's LOL

but then i thawt about it a bit more and im sure getting pregnant in the world war wasnt rationed (unless iv not heard of it which i very much doubt LOL)

perhaps paladin could investigate this further along with her ww1 & ww2 paranormal activities cus if getting pregnant was rationed then most of us wud not even be here wud we LOL
sorry for waffling on but now u got ur laugh today whether its at my searching or me hee! hee!

was gonna say i was doing more but im a bit reluctant now as to wot ill find next LOL

to be honest this searching on here is very annoying at times only if u put just 1 word in does it seem to work properly never mind its quite funny realy LOL

allmost every time I put something in I Never get anyhting that IS relevant,
I dont get anymore, I have just got used to it
and I just look at the funny things you get out of it

i also did a search on 'JEWELLERY SHOPS' and about 2nd or 3rd on the list was 'BEST KEBAB SHOPS IN THE WORLD'

on most search engines on the net if u put a + between the words it lets u just search on those 2 words so BOTH of them hav to be on the web page but it doesnt seem to work here. perhaps thats sumthing that could be put forward? i really dont hav a clue who to tell or i wud do it myself. if u give me the name of the person to tell ill gladly message them and keep u updated on wot they say IF they ay anything at all....

sort of good news on this subject. i bought it up on a thread iv got in mine called asking for help/bug report. two ppl hav replied but it seems the last reply i got is only relevant to if u hav a pc so i hope its of sum benfit to u.

ill try it out anyway and see if it works feel free to subscribe to it as ill be writing quite alot to this one if i keep getting good replies

Hi, I read this thread, and about your search problems, and I find when searching, it helps if you put more than one word between quotation marks. ie. "JEWELLERY SHOPS" Then it searches both words together, and not each individual word.

That's what I was gonna say.
But this still gets you a very wide set of results.
You search for one things and get another.
Never mind, it is, as mentioned earlier, the only search we have at the mo.

You're absolutely right Amanda, and some of the subjects that are found aren't even remotely related to what you searched for.
The more search pages you look at too, the results are even more obscure!
Some times though, you can find things you would never have discovered otherwise!

You do find things that interest you, that you would not have considered looking for, so in a way, the naffness of the search is good.
