ahh that's better!
So - is your son on a gap year type thing? Or is he a seasoned teacher of English as a foreign language? I think he is very brave - does he speak Japanese?
I am sure he will get to like it a lot more after a bit - it doesn't help that he's been fighting with fish bones!
My eldest daughter is spending a few months in Florence (gap year) and seems to be causing a respectable amount of havoc - she had a tattoo done last week - which I am fine with (I told her to have it done in a place that was easy to cover up - as what may look really cool at 18 may not look quite so great at 50!)- but suspect her father might kick up a bit of stink!
I have to go and rustle up some supper for me chap now...

He's initially on a 1 year contract, finished degree 2 years ago, which was nothing to do with Japan but he did Japanese modules as extras.
I'm glad to hear your daughter is taking full advantage of her gap year, hope she's having a wonderful time.
It's so good for them to travel isn't it? I hope it makes the world a friendlier place for them, they can relate to different races and cultures and in the light of what's happening today that must be a good thing, eh?
Thanks for your welcome, enjoy supper.
