Yo, Cat. It somehow doesn't have quite the same challenge as doing a decent cryptic crossword. OK, it's more fun socially, but I guess I prefer a reasonably intelligent conversation as you might see from the other threads I spend time on.
Best of luck to you anagrammers, anyway. At least there seems to be someone at it most of the time. I used to follow "The Quiz that is" but now it appears that it isn't!

it's easier than having to think of something to converse about ,,just a bit of fun to pass the time

Crazy. I find that conversation comes more spontaneously and tends to be more interesting than puzzles. I enjoy doing crosswords in collaboration with someone, since conversation results.
Surely there are threads about science, religion, politics etc on which you might be tempted to voice an opinion or even ask or answer a factual question. I enjoy the BBC's 'Questions, Questions' board as well as other threads here. Sadly, QQ isn't what it was originally - which is largely the fault of its administrators.

Crazy. Have to admit that I do a bit of trolling myself although it is against the rules of this site!
I can imagine people with asperger's syndrome spending the day doing anagrams. I guess it has its amusing moments.

the anagrams are ok..i don't really have access to articles on the web forbacking up my arguments so i tend to just express my opinion on based on experience and 2nd hand knowledge

So you're one of these cable and smart keyboard users then, I take it. Don't know much about them, but I can tell you that secondhand computers that will easily access the internet are laughably cheap. It isn't as very demanding task for them. The cable companies offer cheap ISP services for full internet access, I believe.

Not that much, Crazy! £15 a month is practically top whack. Cable sites and many others offer the service for under £10 and that's 24/7. Settle for a smaller time slot and it's cheaper. OK, I'm online practically all day; but then I'm virtually housebound at present and I can even do my shopping online and get it delivered free! I've been on the net for about 6 years at least and I wouldn't be without it!

Fair enough, Iain. Hey I visited your page! I think the idea of the 42ism is to use the numbers in order. I did what you've done originally. You will notice that now I've kept to the tougher constraint.
