Hi Dave firstly thanks again for your help in getting my space looking good..What i was wondering is if you could do me a guide ml link that can go at the top of the other links on my space so that it will take me straight to the tea shop..i would like it same as the other ones that are on thre already..you may have to nip and have a look..Thanks Dave see you in the shop..Marc

Here is how to do the link.

It might look good if you put before ye and after shoppe.
The italics would help give it an oldy worldly look! lol:oD

Marc, here's a link you might like to have. It tells you who has you on their friends list.
You will find the names right at the bottom of your page after your own friends list.

At the bottom of your edit page tpye this after and before

done that ..i was going to try putting it at the top with my other links but it will do where it is..i have seen a link that tells people visiting your sight if you are on line or not..do you know the one i mean??..

I haven't seen that link. Can you remember where you saw it?
There is a way to see the guideML on anyones page.
You just put this link on your page, then you can delete it again.

Test page

That link would show you the guideML on my page.

The number is my researcher nunber.

If it's an article you want to look at, it is slightly different.

For the A number of an article you precede the number by test instead of testuserpage. You don't include the A

I will try and find out about that link though.

The visitors name link is easy.
At to top of your page, just type:-

Welcome


or a greeting of your own choice and the rest of what you have written there will follow on.

I just checked the link Marc, it is just one that shows you who's online, just the same as the one you already have.
I'm disappointed I would have liked it too!

Dave just wondering i have a digibox on the digibox i have 3 email addresses is it possible to use one of my other email address to register a different user name
without any of the details on this username changing..or is there any way of doing that having a new user name but still keep this one???? don`t i ask some good questions???

Hi Marc, you can register as many names as you like! All with the same email address.

I have two, one of which I don't use, and I also take care of MoonGirls page while she is away.

All you do is Logout, then click on register, and submit a different login name. You can use the same password as your current name.

The only problem is if you clicked on. `Only remember me on this computer`
If you did then the digibox will only accept that name.

There is a way round this though.
Logout and register with a name you won't use. Then just Logout again immediately. Now you can register your new name, but be careful not to click on `Always remember me on this computer.`
Then you can Logout and Login at will with either name.

Marc, here's a wee trick you might like to try.
Type this on an email and send it to yourself. It will take you to your own page when you click on it in email.

The only space is between A and HREF

Here's something for you to try on your page if you like.

Underneath type this.



Then at the bottom of your edit page, above type


That will put a box round your page. If you want to you can change the bgcolor of your page too.
If you'd like that, just ask and I'll tell you what to do.

thanks again dave you are a pal..i had someone the other day ask me how i managed to get my space like it is so i told them i had a very good teacher... so now
she wants me to do her space for her i said i wouldn`t do it for her but i will teach her how to put the codes etc in there and do it for herself..so there will be another spce that looks just like mine..
i can have a look see if i did tick`always remember me on this computer if i did then i will have to do it the way you said...thanks Dave..

Marc, it might help if you put this at the top of your page with your other links.

My guideML

If your friend clicks on that she will see all your guideML without being able to alter it
You can do that with anyones page.

DAVE if i logout and change username would i have to logbackin to get back on this name cos if i do then i can`t remember the bbc name and password if i click on the `forgot password` it send password to the email address i registered with and i have changed it since..I don`t want to lose this username..Marc
