h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The Ford prequel seems to be taking shape, thanks for your input, now we have got Dirk on board it can go in a multitude of directions. Could do with some others to join this posting, detail knowledge of the history of HG2G and Gently should keep the story on track, I am but a novice of the texts, but learning fast.

I was thinking of starting a sub-plot line to run at same time, at some point they could come together, this might get complicated, but Life is anyway.

Sub plot 1. What is Arthur doing at the time
Sub plot 2. Trisha MacMillan at University
Sub plot 3. Mr Prosser as a junior clerk at the council

What's Zaphod doing at the time. That could be really interesting!

that,s a good point since at some point he will visit earth as well, but I think we should keep the story earth based from when he arrives, which does not have to be at the time of the party.

I think we may look into the circumstances leading upto Arthur's brother being nibbled to death by an okapi as well

But I want to do Zaphod too. He's probably got an interesting life, being a con man, galactic president and stuff like that.

OK OK......do Zaphod, run it at same time as a seperate line call it sub plot 1, you start it off, remember though this is story is about Fords time on earth, also they never meet up on earth.

Can't we simply do Zaphod Beelbebrox, the prequel, and tell of his childhood and the things he does before stealing hart of gold?
