Sorry about the delay, I've been away from hootoo for a bit. Glad you like it though.

It's okay. RL stuff happens sometimes too.
Yeah, there are times sometimes when it takes a very long while to let people log-on/sign in.

Sometimes people joke that things like that are because the server for Hootoo might be powered or back up powered by generators run by hamsters running in little wheels.

The main reason I've been drifting away is because I've been on here for a looooong time, so most of the groups and threads and people I used to chat with/in have died/gone away.

I'm only 19 and am trying to later get into premed.

I remember when I turned 20...I was sitting in a dark forest, suddenly I realised it was my birthday. The shock of it made me sit up till 5 in the morning drinking. I think at some point a guy tried to kiss me.

Argh, I don't know.

Anything will beat how mopey I have/had been in my late-teens just about, I , hope.

It doesn't take much resolve to go out and get drunk

Here, you only have to be 16 to drink beer, and 18 for everything else!

21 to drink.
@ least 16 to drive with a limited "permit" kind of thing that some groups continue to seek pushing further restrictions on. Let's see... I think in my state a person has to be at least 18 to legally purchase/use smoking tobacco. They might have tried to or upped that one to 21 too, I have not checked. Well, perhaps not.
Stupid politics. 21 to gamble in places like casinos. but only 18 to be able to serve in armed forces. It is perhaps then likely to be kind of an odd place then?

I think US needs perhaps or might do a bit better,-... hmm, it might do well if people over here where I am ...

Driving's 18 here, but it's too expensive for most people my age. Smoking is 16, smoking weed is 18.

And what's with the censorship? We never used to have that.

Oh, and no, the commonly held belief of the public fallacy about weed being legal in California is bung.
People still get in trouble if policemen see it or them using it, or if it
can be smelled on them fairly obviously by someone who was against it.

Myself, I tend to kinda stay away from the stuff anyway because it stinks.
Even if there weren't all the rules I have seen what it can do to people's memories in a few people.
