Oh phew! I am not a 'friend' . . . yet!

Mudhooks, I agree with Ictoan that the less said the better. After all, it seems that this one is mostly seeking attention and doesn't care if it is positive or negative as long as a response is given.

On larger, more 'public' threads I have no problem ignoring, though I will occasionally respond if something lucid has been said. On my journal threads or on more 'private' conversation threads I simply say 'would you please go away?'. Which seems to work. I think it's all a bit sad, really.

Actually, he has been getting somewhat more lucid in his postings, even if they are crackpot.

I intend to let it all go for now. It was just a period when his postins particularily irked me.

Just to add, he seems to be alienating (or so they claim) american soldier on duty in Iraq. Unfortunate they and red should be the first people they encpounter on here

Re Oetzi, Red and Flipper: What a pair of nit-wits. If one isn't sure someone is on the up and up, you don't confront them outright. You bide your time and see if their story adds up. If he (or she) is for real, then they could drive him/her away. If he/she isn't, it will all come out in the wash.
