A while ago on AskH2G2 there was a suggestion that there should be a kinda H2G2 awards thingy.
Well, if it ever happens I'd like to put you forwards for the Plain English Award with reference to a certain recent post of yours

Certainly gets 11/10 for persistant. Perhaps if I applied such techniques of persistance in a positive way to my life I'd be a millionaire married to my perfect woman.
But alas I prefer not to assume nor to tread on peoples toes.
You are doing a sterling job there. Has he been introduced to Justin the Preacher yet?

no, no I can't say it does. I always thought I was being uncharitable and applying a generalised concept to one individual whenever I thought someone might be like that. Now I know that such individuals exist, it is even harder!

I must admit to having no experience of having a gorilla in the room.
Is this sort of thing a common occurrence in your household?

Ummm... yeah... I... um ... raise gorillas...
Actually, when I lived in New York City, my nextdoor neighbour wotked to the Bronx Zoo. She volunteered to help with the baby gorillas, which lived in the home of one of the keepers until they were old enough to go in with the rest of the group.
She said they behaved like any 3-year old human, if a 3-year old human could swing from the ceiling light.
She showed me her photo album of them once.... they were so cute.

heh Yes, strange isn;t it (or perhaps not) how the great apes develop along quite similar lines to start with. Just goes to show out close relations i guess.
Thing that has been making me laugh recently, is that we keep on being referred to as 'bourgeoise' which I have already pointed out means 'middle class woman' and not 'bourgeois'. First off all Canadians were middle class women, now apparently H2G2ers are all middle class women.

I will have to point it out... You may have noticed that, in the last few days, I have adopted the "not suffering the fool gladly" attitude.

just passing through . . .
I do applaud you Mudhooks though I also think my technique is quite effective, albeit very simple. It's been days now!
Erm, although our acquaintance is still young I'm finding it hard to imagine a time when you did in fact suffer fools, gladly or otherwise.

Sorry... I meant that in this instance, I have adopted my PATENTED "not suffering the fool gladly" attitude.

and indeed
I've been added as a friend! Eeeeek!
p.s. Mudhooks, just be very careful, it would be all too easy for your posts to be made to look like you are the aggressor. Not telling you what to do, just saying
