Hi there,

Thanks for the welcome message. I may do a few pieces on Germany. I am already working on a German beer article.

I was wanting to ask, do posts go staight online or do they get vetted first. It's just that i have posted two articles today. one titled Djembe and the other Buckfast and neither are coming up when i do a search for those words.

how long is it before posts should be available to view?

Hi again! No problem! smiley - smiley

The pages are up on h2g2 just now and can be viewed, but it'll probably be a couple of days before you can find them by doing a search -- I'd allow about a week before getting too worried! smiley - smiley

By the way, I thought those were excellent articles! smiley - smiley

I hope that helps! smiley - biggrin

Hi again,

I found there is already an article on the beer subject i was going to do so have dried up a bit. This gave me an idea, and i wanted to know if you agree or if it already exists.

It would be great if there was a list somewhere of subjects not yet covered. So that every time someone tries to look something up and can't find it or thinks of a good subject but doesn't know enough about it, they can add it to the list. In turn, researches with writers block can look at the list for subjects they feel they could write on.

What do you think?

Martin

Hi again! smiley - smiley

I'm afraid you can't put your own pictures onto h2g2 or link to pictures from sites other than h2g2. It used to be allowed, but isn't any more! smiley - ok

The pictures on h2g2 were created specifically for h2g2, and so aren't submitted then considered. Unfortunately, as far as I know, there isn't anyway to submit pictures to them for consideration.

There are lots of pictures you can use, though, listed at C809smiley - ok
