I about to be crushed by the avalanche of books that's looming in my apartment. I finished a book yesterday at lunch and just handed it to a coworker. Now I gotta get it back so I can register it now that I know where to do that. smiley - cheers

You can pre-print bookplates with the ID number and a little note about the website. smiley - geek Haven't done it yet, but should. My books are taking over my bedroom closet, and the shelves in the living room, and some shelves in the garage.

Yea, I've been doing the http://www.wheresgeorge.com thing for a few years.

There's another similar thing with disposable cameras but I can't remember their URL. That one is pretty neat as you get to see the trips on the website.

Maybe this is it http://www.anonymousphotoproject.com/

Anyway, these and stuff like geocaching and letterboxing intrigue me.

They're like studies in social Brownian motion.

I like the idea of geocaching too but haven't picked up a GPS and gone hunting yet.

Released book number two today. This is addictive. I like walking by the place I released a book and seeing it isn't there anymore. It's a much better pay off than selling books at a garage sale. The satisfaction is worth more than the $1 I might get for a paperback.
