Re Wrapping the dogs' prezzies andd burying them in the garden when they're not looking: When the children were small we used to put some carrots on a dish and leave them on the ledge of the front porch for 's . We also left out a mince pie for . We always had to remember to bite the large end off the carrots and leave them in the dish to simulate the havinh eaten them.
We're goiung to do the same for grandson this evening. (Golly, it doesn;t seem that long dsince we were douing it for our own children - did we ever stop?)

I didn't even wrap Peanut's . Next year we'll do more of that and she'll play with the wrap and not her presents. Don't think we'll start the and cookies until the after that.
Hope your holidays were grand and that you got everything you wanted and some good things you weren't expecting.

Yes. Mrs RBA gave me a telescope which I used iun the early hours of this morning to view Jupiter. (In fact, there are 5 planets in view at present). Actually, I had to get up at about 0530 to let the dog out, and then remembered about the planets. I also received an electronic 'Dymo' labelling machine Thisstems from the time about 3 weeks ago when I asked Mrs RBA to buy me a Dymo machine (the hand -operated sort) while she was in towN. The people in the shop 'd and said they hadn't made those for some years. Hence, instead of purchasing something that should have cost less than £5-00, we bought s'thing that cost about £20-00! However, its got loads of facilities on it.
My grandson, amongst other things, rewceivced two train sets which, fortuitously can be joined together. He's obsessed with trains and, just before Christmas, we took him on a steam railway where he met . Actually, he's pulling at me now to play with his trains, so I'd better
Hope you also had a good Christmas, Emee.s
