I've only been in Exeter once - I remember a cathedral and some mysterious underground passages.

'Ullo Gnomon, thanks for popping in and saying hi. I can happily report that both cathedral and catacombs are still present in Exeter, and in full use for the benefit of sightsee-ers and curious locals (oh, they're all curious ).

Since you're my first visitor "at home", as 'twere, can I ask you a Guide-related question? I'm composing an entry on the Necronomicon (I think it shows up on searches), but I'm having some trouble with the GuideML and I just can't figure it out. It keeps telling me "You can only have one top level (something) in an XMS document", and flagging the Open Paragraph tag of the second paragraph, as though I've somehow offended it by writing more than one paragraph. I've tried everything I can think of, and I certainly didn't have this problem with my entry on cravats, so I invite suggestions. Can you, as the seasoned author of 63 Edited Guide entries, offer any help? Pretty please?

I'll certainly offer any help I can. I don't recognise the error message you are talking about. Switch the entry to plain text (out of GuideML) and save it, then let me know the entry number (it will be A followed by a 6 digit number) and I'll have a look at it.

Bless you sir, you're a gentleman and a squalor. The entry number is A846740. Error message still shows when I click on "Preview", dagnabbit.

I don't know what you are doing wrong. I cut and paste from your entry into one of my own and it works fine. You can see it at A848171. There's no error message.

What exact steps are you doing? WHat I think you should be doing is:

1. Edit the entry.
2. Click on Radio Button beside GuideML and click on Change Style.

I'll be danged. That's what I was doing wrong, pressing "Preview" instead of "Change Style". The Entry does indeed work fine, and I've sent it off for Peer Review. Ta muchly!
