Hello Jim.

Yes, Im still with smiley - monster
He has now retired and Im suffering from retireditis smiley - laugh

Its great being on your own at times, without having to worry about others and to do what you want, when you want. So I have learned to enjoy my lone times.

I havent used my digi in ages. It broke down again some time last year and i couldnt be bothered to ring up and sort it. Then I remembered the 90 rule on emails, by which time, it was well overdue. Maybe one day I will ring and complain smiley - laugh

7 years on here and all that time on LD. Its a lifetime smiley - yikes

My health isnt that good these days. I have rheumatoid arthritis and the aches and pains arent very nice. Its a real struggle to get started in the mornings and I have to keep on stopping for a break.

I keep on thinking that Im only 54, I shouldnt be like this yet.

Luckily I havent had hay fever, but smiley - monster suffers and his eyes keep on running.

I havent been to many places this year. Ive only been to the Llandudno once and no other seasidey places. Im getting withdrawal symptoms smiley - laugh

I would love to win £700. I cant see it happening though.

Im in the sweepstake thingy for the local football team. £1 a week. All Ive ever had is a birthday card. Which i reckon that £52 is an expensive card. I keep thinking of stopping it, but you can guarantee, the week I do is the week I would have won smiley - laugh

hi helen
-
it costs me £6 for the irish, i do 3 numbers for 3 seperate draws
-
if i get two of the three on any line i get £17, but if i get three on any line i get £700.
-
the max i can win is, £2100.
-
got drowned twice, on the way to the cyber, and just after i left to go to the library, i didnt bother with the lib, i was soaked, just came home smiley - dragon jim xx

you should have bought another computer with that £700, saves you getting wet smiley - laugh

I have loads of gardening and the first hint of a raindrop and I wont go out there. Many a time ive been out in a fine hazy rain and ended up with flu or the likes and suffered for weeks. Its not worth the hassle of getting wet.

hi helen
-
ive had this ruddy hayfever so long i cant remeber since when,
-
i know it was just after i went to a farm at a mates, and he had a field of the rapeseed. so if im right its been three months now.
-
i caught a bit of the jackson circus last night, i can see why liz taylor didnt want to be there
even the comentator said, now others will be trying to outdo the coffin one.
-
i liked the earlier songs, but only as the jackson five.
-
hearing what brooke shields said, i think was out of place, liz t, didnt want anything said, and it was flipant and out of place.
-
you might have a diff take on the fiasco,to me was over the top.
-
will tonight be the £700 or at least the £17 smiley - dragon jim xx

I didnt watch any of it. Im not interested and I cant see what all the fuss is about.
Ive read the odd bit in the papers, but its all been sensationalised out of all proportion.
Its the same with the Katie Price/Peter Andre thing.

Not my cup of tea. Can you tell? smiley - laugh

-
well im no richer or poorer than yesterday.
-
i have to admit since virginmedia took over tw, there are less problems with tv and emails.
-

-
the fun starts here tomz friday, the bus drivers for our first bus are having a one day strike, over hrs and pay,so i can see it going worse, because the first bus wont give in. smiley - dragon jim xx

I know its 'oyster'.

Someone famous, not sure who but a dizzy blonde, I think, said lobster and its stuck with whoever uses that saying.

We have Arriva down here and the bus fares are extortionate. We dont have return fares anymore and its £3-60ish to get to town and back, which is a lot considering its only about 3 miles away.

-
wasnt m more was it the lobster.
-
its £1-65p to town, about 2 miles
-
i have the pass so i dont bother even keeping up with the cost.
-
the local tv news, didnt get it right, and i didnt hear it right, we arnt having a strike, its either north or south, im in west yorkshire.
-
but the odds are it will be all the first bus company, and even arriva in a week or so.
-
been to cyber, some of the forums and messageboards i use, are starting to disappear.
-
if the one with the account on the domain lets it lax, we get shut out, then in time it just goes to the domain name.

I dont go on our buses unless its absolutely necessary. I sometimes get a special ticket that will take me to Shrewsbury and most of the Shropshire area.

I cant wait till I get my old age pass and then I will be gone. Never to be seen again smiley - laugh

dont wish old age on yourself, you have to be 60 to get one smiley - rofl.
-
the strike this time will be in the doncaster area, but its going to be west yorkshire, in a week or less, a driver i know said the drivers here have had hrs cut,as routes have been taken off at certain hrs. smiley - dragon jim xx

I do know at one point last year that Arriva were 28 drivers short of their full compliment. With pay and work conditions, nobody was staying longer than necessary.
smiley - monster used to work for them and it used to be good then. Whenever he sees old colleagues, they all have something to moan about.
Lets just say, its not the best company to work for smiley - laugh

hi helen
-
here the main one is first bus, arriva is one that omes and goes throught the interchange, same with nat express.
-
there also a one off that goes to and from the bradford, leeds airport.
-
on of these day i hope to use the airport one, ive never been up in a plane, i would like to take a short trip, say to london, glasggw, or just a seaside town, just once. if i get the £700,then i will take a trip.
-
my loft as to be redone, the idiots that did the wiring and put the insulation down, have messed up, and there is enough insulation to do three lofts the housing man said.
-
but till rats comes and takes the stuff still in the loft,i cant do it with my hayfever.they cant do the ruddy thing.
-
i rang his new house 4 times yesterday and no reply, he asnt got a job, probably in ruddy bed, while his wife is working smiley - rofl
-
i know i tend to moan, but whats left to do now, nothing goes right anymore, i just wait for the next disaster or something.
-
