I hardy use my activemail account these days. the only mails i get are junk. i cant remember the last time i had a mail from someone i know.

i still have to use it, but i have a blueyonder one as well, i can acsess from the library pc, and two hotmail ones a .o.uk and a .com from my days on the pc at home, and itf i can remember the details one on yahoo.co.uk.

we still get the crap and spam but not as much now.

have you been watching the new 999 info channel, nothing about interactive or emails, they are pushing a new v-box that can record two channels while you watch another, with all the repeats its a waste of money.the teleport does the ruddy same, i can use it for free im on the new, xtralarge package, what a name lol. jim xxx

whats going on with the digiboxes?
i tried to access the emails today and it wanted to set me up a new account. i eventaully got in to the old ones, but that is as far as it went. im still no closer to reading anything, even the junk ones
the tv programming guide has been rubbish as well just lately. its trial and error as to if it works or not.

i havent looked at anything to do with the takeover or what is now on offer or what is being taken away.
to be quite honest, ive lost heart in it and for me to say that about it, i must be bad..
ive never felt like that in all the years ive had it.

dont panic, its virginmedia, from what i can tell we are to be offered 3 options for the email addy, ntl virgin, and active as is or even blueyonder.

if you acsess the mail on the homepage you will see they have now a choice of three addys, blueyonder,ntl, and virgin. you can stay with blue or change to one of the others.

from today, if i got it right, the changes will begin in areas probably like last time.

from what i know only the the look and manes will change, the magics will still be ok.

ive asked around and it sounds like you where probably timed out with not using the active emails.

tw had put a 90 day message on the emails, and if its been over 90 days, it could be the reason you nearly lost the account for the emails. jim xxxx

i check the systems most days, just for the heck of it all.

to be quite honest i think its a damned cheek what they have done.
why shouldnt we be able to mail on the 91st day??
its my account, i should be able to use it as and when i feel like it.

i did think of ringing telepest, but its too much trouble.

you cant ring telepest its now virginmedia on the 150 as well lol.

will all sort out when we get the new look as shown on the 999 channel. we should be used to the fiasco with the changes over the last 5 or more years.

i dont know what has happened but i can get into my mails again.
i had a feeling that if i sat tight, that it would clear eventually. its just annoying while you wait.

i havent rung telepest for ages so no doubt they have changed the system for getting through.
there used to be a time when i was on the phone daily and i knew more than the phone operatives

its still the same options, just instead of the telewest, it says virginmedia now.lol

i know its silly, but i miss the background music that telepest used while waitng for a channel to start

most week nights, we watch something in itv4 and switch over at about 5.57 or whatever that last programme finishes. its strange getting used to the silence

the one thing i wont miss is when we first rebooted and got the down your street, that got my goat, it wasnt even a true interpretation, ive never been able to unplug the box and plug in and the tv comes straight back, it takes 3 to 5 mins to reboot. lol

you get given a chest infection, it just happens lol, my sister had about 7 or 8 a year.

im still plodding on, im heading for the library about 12-15, and if im lucky i,ll get 2 hours on a pc, yesterday, it was one, as the system went kaput.

im sorry for not replying sooner, but ive been under the weather physically and mentally and not been my usual chatty self.

hopefully things are starting to improve.

i really must make more of an effort to stay in touch with everyone.
