h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi! Welcome to h2g2.

Now, the vexed question of what to put in an introduction... the best advice I can offer is, have a look what other people have put. Click around some guide entries and conversations here, and click on people's names. That'll take you to their space, and you can see what they've put. That might give you a few ideas.

As for how to make it all look flashy and include pictures and fonts and stuff, you'll need to use GuideML, but don't worry, it's pretty easy. If you can already write HTML then you could probably teach me a thing or two. If not, click on my name, look over my space (there may be a link or two there which amuses you), then click where it tells you in the "pointless tricks" section and you can see what the GuideML for my space looks like. Do feel free to nick as much or as little of the code as you like. That's how I got it!

It looks quite smart actually. I still have no idea what to write as an introduction, and I have no idea how I came across this site...it's like Im lost somewhere, but at the same time, how can I be lost, as I know where I am?

Don't worry! A lot of people are like that (I for one) but it doesnt matter. Get around, talk to people, find some friends. And then you'll never want to leave!
