Mark,
I sent you an e-mail a short time ago. It is possible that some of my mail is somehow going elsewhere in error so sending this to your pigeon hole as well.
I would like to post enigma directly to the site! Any objections or problems that you can see?
Ken

Hi Ken
Email here is still taking a very long time to get through.
There are no problems *that I can foresee*!
I wonder, have you thought about posting it to the History Site Wars and Conflicts Messageboard? There's an active community there who talk about all sorts of things war-related.

What do you think?

Morning Mark!
OK, I am going to spend a few hours tidying it up a little and making a few alterations in view of it's new home. By the time you arrive this a.m it should be up and running for all to see.
I am not very keen to become involved anymore with intra-BBCi platforms and discussions such as h2gh as recent forays have left me with a few battle scars. Some h2g2-ites that I find to be humourless, rather indignant, outraged or otherwise unfriendly give the impression that they would like to have me banished! That is of course for you and others to decide. Have you read the threads?
As far the History site that you mention is concerned, I have no worries if they are pointed toward this new post but I don't want to do that - will leave it to you.
Cheers and how was Mars in your skies?

OK Ken, no worries.
Have seen the thread - to be honest it's not something I want to get involved in as I'll be leaving the BBC next Friday. It does encompass a wider debate about how the DNA sites interact but that's for people far higher up the food chain than I!
Are you putting the story up on your own website too?
Mars - well Ken, our Summer, good as it was, seems to have finished now and we are shrouded in clouds and it's raining!
Cheers, Mark

Mark,
Well it is so soon that you will depart the 'allowed 'alls of the Beeb.
There is no doubt that you will be sadly missed by one and all.
I will no doubt hear from you before you go next Friday and will keep in touch.
The turmoil currently running amok on h2h2 I reckon has now come off the boil and maybe is now just simmering. Could it be that this is because that God of War icon, Mars was not visible in your skies?
Undecided at this time about putting the Bader story up on my site. The mechanics are complex and I am getting a little tired these days.
Cheers and good fortune
Ken

Mark,
Have received through my personal website mail address a VERY interesting letter and some images. These could possibly provide some info that may be go a long way towards confirming my story - I may later add such input to the story!
Getting Interesting as I felt it Might!
Cheers

Gosh Ken, corrobarative evidence perhaps? From the original 'source' or a seperate one???
I have now had a good look at Mars, and found it to be most impressive. Not from the light-polluted night skies of London but from rural Ireland (I was there at the weekend).
Only four days left now Ken, hooray!
Will keep in touch of course, most likely I will drop you a line from my web-based email account (rather than my BBC account) so we can keep in touch leading up to the new year's Hunter Valley activities!

Hi Mark,
The most important of my input is coming from Europe at the moment, also if you have a look at the posts so far on my story thread and ignore the stuff from the guy who is causing much annoyance to one and all (think they have been hidden) you will find one that will seem rather bold on my part.
The site seems to be very undermanned right now with so many away on hols etc.
Glad you got to see Mars becuae none of us will ever see it that close again!
Keep in touch - the Hunter Valley beckons!
Best wishes
Ken

I didn't realise you had already published! Will look ASAP.
We have plenty of new recruits in, rapidly getting up to speed, we've now brought in Kath, Ben, Niall and David to sort things out!
Heading over to your space now...
